In the nurse's office
Asahi's POV
I woke up in the nurse's office. The pillow I was on was so soft. I dug my face into it. This is the softest pillow I have ever felt. I could stay like this forever. A hand touched me. One of my eyes slowly opened. Nejire-Chan was looking down at me. "Asahi-kun, your awake! I'm sorry about our fight. I went overboard." "Nejire-Chan, I'm glad you went overboard" I answered "Also this pillow I'm on is so soft. You should feel it."
"You like my lap pillow?" Nejire asked. Lap pillow... I thought I was on a regular one. Nah, she must be lying. I dug deeper into the pillow. The pillow seemed to shake when I did. I looked at the pillow. IT WAS NEJIRE-CHAN'S LAP!!! "AH! You weren't lying!" I exclaimed. "Did you like it?" Nejire-Chan asked.
My face turned red. "I...er...um" I stumbled. "I'm taking that as a yes" Nejire-Chan interrupted. I blushed even more of her comment. Should I ask her out yet? How do I ask her that though? "I'll go on a date with you, Asahi-kun. AW man! I forgot she can read my mind! "You really did forget, Asahi-kun" She said reading my mind.
"Stop reading my mind!" I demanded. "Ha ha ha, never" She giggled. I sighed and asked "How long was I out?" "The whole school day" Nejire-Chan replied with no emotion. "You're kidding right?" I asked her. "No, I am not" She answered "You went way overboard. Also tell me about that quirk you used against me."
"The strength enhancing one?" I asked. "Yeah, that one" Nejire-Chan confirmed. Before I knew it Nejire-Chan was chucking questions out. Like 'how long can you use your quirk', 'does it only boosts your physical strength', 'who did it come from'. I was answering all of those questions as fast as I could.
Nejire-Chan was always like this ever since I met her. Always curious about other people's quirks. She took a special liking to my quirk since I could copy other people's quirks. "Earth to Asahi-kun" Nejire-Chan was waving her hand in front of my face. I snapped out of my daydream.
"Are you here now, Asahi-kun?" She asked me. "Yes, sorry I was daydreaming" I apologized. "Everyone daydreams every now and then. It's all right." I sighed of relieve, usually back when we were kids, Nejire-Chan would give me a talking to if I daydreamed. She changed a lot since I saw her.
"Anyways I'm going home now, Asahi-kun. Feel free to drop down to my house if you want to" Nejire-Chan spoke as she grabbed her backpack. I'm so lucky we're friends. I watched her leave the room. I sighed as I got my own backpack.
