Beautiful (Clara's POV)

"Come on Danny! Just one trip?" I plead him. "Please, for me?" I give the big brown puppy dog eyes I know he can't resist.

"Oh... Fine." He replies at last.

"Yay!" I grab his hand and practically drag him into the TARDIS, which landed in my kitchen just 5 minutes ago.

"Clara!" The doctor exclaims. "I see you brought P.E."

"I'm a maths teacher." Danny says, holding his hand to his face.

"Nope, sorry no. You can't be a math teacher." The doctor replies.

"Anyway!" I stand between them, holding Danny's hand. "After hours of him begging me, I've finally decided we should take him on a trip I'm the TARDIS."

"What?" Danny interjects "you were begging me!"

"Hush, doctor I think we should show him the rings of akahten. It was the first thing you showed me, it should be the first thing I show him."

"Alrighty!" The doctor says, and starts flicking switches and pressing buttons on the console. The TARDIS springs to life.

Danny stands there quietly, saying nothing.

"You ok?" I ask him.

"Are we... Are we moving?"

"Yeah we are." I answer back. "Doctor turn the stabilisers off."

"Why would I do that?" The doctor gives me a look. Those eyebrows.

"Because it's more fun that way."

"Fine, P.E. I think you should hold on." The doctor flips a switch, the entire TARDIS spins and quakes as it is thrown around the time vortex. I look over to see Danny clinging to the railings for dear life.

"It's more fun if you don't hold on to the rails." I tell him. I try my hardest to walk over to him, crashing into the console as the TARDIS jolts to the left. I finally make my way over. I hold my arm out for Danny. Gingerly he takes it and steps away from the railing.

Just as he was getting the hand of standing unsupported, the TARDIS stops with a jolt, sending us both flying. He lands on top of me. We lay there staring at each other for a moment before we erupt into fits of giggles.

"If you two are quite finished..." The doctor says from across the TARDIS.

"Right, rings... Yes... Come on Danny" we both stand up and I grab his hand, leading him to the doors. "Danny Pink, human maths teacher of earth, may I present to you, the Rings of Akhaten!" The doctor opens the doors from the console. I watch Danny's eyes go wide in shock.

"We're... We're in space!" Danny says in disbelief. I giggle at this.

"Yep!" I sit down, allowing my legs to dangle out of the TARDIS. I pat the floor beside me, signalling for him to sit with me. Slowly he does and wraps his arm around my shoulders.

"Quick question..." He says.

"Hmm?"

"How are we breathing right now?"

"There's an air shell surrounding the TARDIS" the doctor interrupts.

"Oh ok..." He still seems confused.

"Imagine a big bubble around the TARDIS, filled with air." I tell him.

"Right..."

"Isn't this beautiful?" I ask, changing the subject, gesturing to the sight out of the doors.

"It is... It's really beautiful... In fact it's the second most beautiful thing I've ever seen." He replies.

"Second?" I ask him,confused "what you be more beautiful than this?" He simply looks at me with that cheeky smirk of his. It takes me a moment to realise that he is talking about me. I feel the redness rush to my cheeks. It was a cheesy line, but it worked.

I grab the collar of his shirt and pull him towards me, connecting our lips. I slip my hands round from his collar so they come together behind his neck. I feel him run his fingers smoothly through my hair.

"Do you two really have to do that?" I hear the doctor say from over by the console.

I break away and look at him. "Yes." I say blankly. "Because you..." I turn back to Danny and give him a kiss on the nose. "Are adorable."

"Not as adorable as you, little one." Danny replies.

"Aww..." I return to kissing him. Softly. Gently.

"Pfft..." The doctor scoffs. "Humans..."
