Chapter 51: Retaliation

The voice that sudden resonated from my Augma hasn't spoken to me ever since I left my home. It hinted to me that I had to go to Kirito's home, ensuring that I will make peace with anything that I have ruined so far. And that's exactly what I'm doing right now. Because here I stand, in front of Kirito's doorstep.

*knock knock*

As I knock on Kirito's door, I couldn't help but to feel watched. It could either be Kazuto himself, Yuna, Eiji, just anyone who can get me on my nerves by now. I waited for 30 seconds by now, and still no sign of life from inside the medium-sized house. The residence Kirito lives in was a typical Japanese architectural house, resembling nothing but the Japanese lifestyle. Just like Asuna's living, Kazuto's living was rather big as well. It actually made me quite jealous.

As soon as I stopped thinking in myself, I could hear the door open, and a figure I did not expect at all opened the door instead.

"Good afternoon, can I help you?" asks the rare-figured girl to me. The reason I think she's worth being called a 'rare figure', is simply because of one thing. She has a ridiculously big chest. I also don't think she's that old. If I could assume her age, she would be almost 17.

But I never knew Kazuto had a little sister. As far as I can tell, he never mentioned one back in Sword Art Online, at school or in ALfheim.

"Yeah actually. Is your brother, Kazuto, home?" I ask the girl. Not much after waiting for a response, she looks at me with one of her eyebrows raised.

"I've got no brother named Kazuto. May I know who you are before you ask anything else?" the girl responds to me with a question. She really seems protective and cautious, and I don't really blame her. Kazuto could a huge target among gamers, an idol even. She wouldn't want another fanboy to hang around his house after all.

"I'm Sasaki Shoji. Asuna, Yuuki, Kazuto and I have been on ALO this noon. Did he tell anything about it before he dived, or maybe after he dived?" I ask the girl once again. Before I realized she slightly let go of her caution, she pulled up one of my sleeves, assuming she's checking me for something. And right I was. She softly said something that caught my attention as well.

"No Laughing Coffin logo... alright, please come in."

"Pretending like I got no idea what you're talking about? Asuna made the right choice to propose to make out with Shoji?!" shouts Kazuto to the sniper user. Shino immediately seemed to regret what she said, although she does not blame Asuna for doing something as bold as requesting something rather sexual from Shoji. Lisbeth and Silica both seem to agree with Sinon, although they also think that a sexual affair is too far-fetched for payback for what Kirito is doing to them.

"She didn't mean it like that Kirito. The thing is, Asuna feels like you don't treat her like you used to because her personality she used to have has changed. She feels like you're flirting with us now instead, and we can't really say she's wrong..." Lisbeth says, attempting to protect Shino. It's no secret to anyone that Lisbeth has feelings towards Kirito as well, so she does not really mind that Kirito flirts with her, but she knows it's wrong of Kirito to cheat on Asuna, as well as to flirt with many others at the same time. That's why she protects Shino, instead of agreeing with Kirito.

It's simply the right thing to do.

"Besides, we don't know if Shoji accepted Asuna's offer. I have only been with Shoji once so I can't give my definitive thoughts about him. But from what I have seen, he's a reliable person." Sinon says. At that moment, something managed to hit Kirito. In the course of discussion, he has calmed down already. But now that Sinon mentions that Kirito wasn't there to see if Shoji accepted Asuna's naughty offer, he knows he shouldn't always trust his instincts.
