Announcement!
In time, everything reaches its end. My story too, is not an exception to this. With the loss of Yuuki in the previous chapter, therefore ending the Mother's Rosario arc. in my story, there is only one more thing to cover in this arc., that being the Ordinal Scale arc.
As you may have noticed already, Faithful Hymn is not the first and final story that I will be writing. As I have progressed Faithful Hymn, I knew that the story would have to start somewhere during the Mother's Rosario arc, eventually ending in the Ordinal Scale arc, since it is centered around Yuna's development.
Therefore, I knew I could not adapt the Alicization arc. in this story, while trying to hold the amount of chapters in my story below the 100. If I were to make this story 100+ chapters, people would quickly lose interest in continuing it. For that reason, I have already started development for my sequel story, which will be Alicization based.
Its name: Alicization Hidden Legacy.
And since I really want to make the characters stand out more, it takes more than one story to do so. That is why I am planning on creating different side stories which all focus on a specific character from the SAO franchise.
I'm not gonna do crossovers. So no Deku from MHA or Rem from Re:Zero or anything of the sort. Sorry fans ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It would be overkill to create a long story like this for every character individually. That's why I think that short stories from around 10-15 chapters for each character would suffice in my opinion.
And no, I probably won't write a short story about every character that appeared in the SAO universe so far that still players (minor) roles. (Yes of course I will write something about Yuuki and Sinon. I'm not a monster okay?)
So in the near and far future, please look forward to more releases!
Sword Art Online: Alicization Hidden Legacy is the sequel story to Faithful Hymn. It is already possible to read some chapters of it, though be warned that spoilers may occur regarding what the future of Faithful Hymn will have in store.
Also, compared to Faithful Hymn, Hidden Legacy includes pictures that are either created by me or adapted by me, with all of them being in the same art-style as I redrew every single character you can see on the image! (If I end up using an image that belongs to someone else, I'll make sure to properly credit the original author. Don't worry ^_^)
