"Bring it on, kids!"
This is what Vassago shouted as soon as Sinon's bullet hit the floor. It indicated that our fight could finally begin.
Sinon and I looked at one another, both thinking the same thing. We both backed away, because running would be the only thing that would keep me alive at this moment. The sniper girl backed up my escape, both of us having the assumption that both Gabriel and Vassago would chase after me.
I'm the easiest prey after all.
The battle stance that Vassago previously had, it didn't really work out for him. As I predicted, it was an SAO battle stance, meaning he would probably clash me with a sword. So he did with his Photon Sword, but he couldn't strike me since I was simply running away.
"You're welcome to shoot them Sinon...!""
We both are on the run, so I knew Sinon needed time to aim properly at the men who were targeting me. With Vassago behind me with a sword, Gabriel was about to shoot at me with his AK-47.
Sinon knew what she had to do in order to help me. After she was about 30 meters away from all of us, I could see her lying down on the floor, positioning her Hecate II, assuming she is willing to snipe Gabriel since he does not move as much as Vassago and I do. Since Gabriel can't properly aim at me whilst running, he has to either crouch or stand still in order for a chance to hit me.
That was the moment Sinon would be waiting for. She waited for the blonde-haired man to stand still, followed by the girl pulling the trigger. Time seemed to slow down as I could see the motion of the wind being penetrated by the strong force of the sniper bullet.
Gabriel realized the bullet was nearing him, thus he prepared to dodge the incoming projectile. He didn't fully succeed in this, with the bullet piercing through his arm. The man grunted a bit. Not out of pain, but mostly out of disgust and human instinct.
"Vassago, you go after the boy. I'll deal with her."
"Okay then bro! Solo PKing is what I do best anyway."
Alright. Positive side: They aren't both trying to annihilate me. Negative side: Sinon won't be able to back me up. This means that PoH would be the only one left to chase me. As far as I may seem like a chased mouse, this is the perfect situation I could picture myself in. With Gabriel off my heels, it's time to use my trump card.
But before I go that route, some casual shooting to PoH's feet seem to do the trick as well at first. The man was forced to keep his distance. If I were to raise my gun to his body, chances were very likely that he was able to parry all of my incoming bullets. That's why I did not even attempt that.
Everything seemed to go pretty smooth. Gabriel and Sinon were dueling, and I was keeping Vassago at bay. If there was one thing that could disrupt my current tactic, it would be-
BANG
Out of my blind spot, a sniper bullet shot my IMI Uzi out of my hands. I look at my left for a millisecond, only to see Sinon being absolutely surprised by what she just did. I wouldn't assume that this was her intention, especially with Gabriel approaching the girl right in front of my view. Sinon probably tried to shoot Gabriel, not being aware of the fact that I was standing behind the blonde-haired man.
"Gabriel knows how to plays his game, I'll give him that."
"Ahahah, can't keep stalling me forever, you little shit!"
PoH then leaped towards me, preparing to vertically slash his sword through my body, cutting it in half. If it weren't for his predictable playstyle, I would have been absolutely crushed by now.
