"Ugh... did I... fall asleep...?"
That's what Shoji thought in himself, waking up from his unintended dormancy. Not knowing what time it could be, due to the curtains being closed, the boy reaches for his phone, checking the time.
13:30 PM, Sunday
March 29th, 2026"Really, did I knock myself out or something..?" the brown-haired boy asks himself, moving around his body to greet and wake up Yuna
"Goodmorning Yuna, time to get-" Shoji said to his right, pausing himself just to realize his beloved Yuna seemed rather 'orange'. Having just woken up, thus not being in his right mind yet, Shoji moves his hand towards the girl's head, stroking her gorgeous hair.
"You look rather orange today. Did you dye your hair? You shouldn't be jealous of Asu-" Shoji pauses himself once again, feeling the movements of the girl's head through his sinews. Following this, Shoji decides to turn the girl's head around.
To his surprise, it wasn't Yuna. It was someone else who he wouldn't expect to sleep next to him. It was Asuna, who slowly opened her beautiful hazel-colored eyes, shimmering through the darkness of the room.
"Mhmm... Sho...ji?" Asuna murmurs as she tries to get fully conscious.
"WHAAAAH!" Shoji shrieks in fear as soon as she realized Asuna was laying next to him in his own bed. He bounced out of bed by accident, actually hurting his own butt.
Because of the response Shoji had to show her, Asuna herself also slightly shrieked. It was to be expected though. Who else wouldn't jump out of his bed, realizing that someone who is not your beloved one is sleeping with you?
"A-ASUNA? WHAT THE HELL?!" yelled Shoji into the beauty's direction.
Asuna, who now was fully awake, was able to respond in a proper manner.
"I'm sorry Shoji, I didn't mean to scare you!"
"You broke into my home! What else did you expect?!"
Shoji simply is outraged, while also not in his right mind. If he truly believed that Yuna was laying next to him just now, he could either show symptoms of a trauma once again, or he simply believed he was dreaming.
But Asuna knows that Shoji is right about one thing. She did break into his own home without the permission to do so. And for that, Asuna is truly sorry.
"Look, I was just worried about you! You didn't show up at school yesterday and you know that I'm not the kind of person who backs away when someone is in distress."
"Distress? The only reason I should be distressed is because you broke into my house! How did you get in anyway?"
"Via an open window and I understand I scared the hell out of you! But you need somebody to talk to right now!"
Raising an eyebrow to Asuna, Shoji is very certain that the girl did not understand something in his message to Shino about 'wanted to be left alone for days to weeks'.
"I think I was very clear in my message that I needed time alone."
"Alone in order to live in sorrow again? Just like those two years and a half after Yuuna died? Is that really what you want to experience all over again?"
