Welcome to the Ordinal Scale Arc!

This can be considered the 'second part' of this storyline. If you have read my other side story (Aincrad' Recalling) as far as I've written it for now, you will know that there has been a time-jump from where this story left off and where it's now resuming again. Don't worry, you won't be missing out on the major lines of the current plot if you haven't read it!

Compared to my previous chapters, the following chapters will receive a lot more images and maybe even some music! Music can easily be played on the background if you read on desktop, but it will be bothersome if you do so on a mobile device.

Of course, scenarios where my OC appears will receive a lot less images as I have to draw these scenarios myself. Have run reading!

Also, the segment below will have spoilers for 'Aincrad's Recalling', parts that have not been published yet. If you wish to avoid spoilers, continue reading from the first part where you can see this indication: ***

Days, a week has passed since Asuna and I have started dating. This last week has been one of the best periods of my entire life. Not just because Asuna has become my lover. No, we managed to unravel my past that kept barricaded behind the point in time where Yuuna got killed.

It all started with a dream. A dream of Yuuna who promised me to restore my memories bit by bit if I did what she asked of me. At first I didn't believe my dream, it just being a silly dream like any other.

But my assumptions were pure deceit. Every task I fulfilled restored bits and bits of my memories, and Asuna and I both begged the question if these memories were legit or not.

As it turned out in the end, they all were true. But restoring everything came with a price as well. These so called 'missions' started off easily, but became rougher every time. I was very desperate for this knowledge of the past, but I didn't let it all get to me.

The last mission, I had to kill somebody I loved. And the only one I loved... was Asuna.

...

I didn't kill her. As desperate as I was, I couldn't bring myself to. It led me towards killing Yuuna instead in this virtual world we found ourselves in, ending this nightmare I thought I could never escape from.

As if it were the finale, we discovered with Yui's help that these dreams really weren't ordinary ones. As it turned out, Eiji and Tetsuhiro were all behind this. Eiji was able to inform Tetsuhiro with everything I experienced after Yuuna's death as he didn't lose his recollection of everything past her death. Tetsuhiro was able to influence my dreams via radio waves coming from my Augma, something humankind seems to consider impossible.

However, declaring them guilty for the crimes they tried to put on me was impossible. There was no evidence besides what Asuna and I experienced, and my NerveGear got confiscated.

What about me and Asuna you ask? Don't worry about our relationship, as it is perfectly fine! We can't stop clinging to each other and our sexu-

"Babee? What are you writingg?"

Shoji laid down his pen on his diary, poorly attempting to hide it from Asuna.

"N-Nothing sweetie! I was creating a bucket list... yes, I was doing that!!"

"Hmph... I can tell when you're lying babe!"

From a grumpy face, she immediately put on a grin upon reminding Shoji what they had planned for today.

"Come on Shoji, it's time for you to go to your first driving lesson!"
