"Wait, this isn't a dungeon. Is this the gun shop?"
Either I haven't paid attention at all, or Sinon never mentioned that she'd bring me to the shop to begin with.
"Of course we go here first silly! You'll need to be prepared for a bloodbath!"
Sinon then moves towards me, bending over as she waves her index finger.
"I told you we'd go here first for guns and gadgets. You clearly didn't pay any attention, mister!"
She clearly was right about that. Not did I only spectate Sinon's virtual avatar, it was also the atmosphere of this world that intrigued me. A world that's surrounded by steel and lights, it's just so different from what I've experienced in the past.
I don't expect her to argue about it with me. She probably had the exact same feeling when she dived into GGO for the first time.
I then move my hand behind my hand, scratching my head in shame.
"I'm sorry, I'll be a good student from now on."
"That's the spirit! Then follow me please."
The blue-haired girl grabs my hand, dragging me through the entrance of the shop.
The shop itself was pretty big. Not only did it have storage for guns, it also had a pub connected to it, as well as a great looking pooling table.
The pub isn't the thing we were focused on though. It was the shop that deserved my main attention. All of the guns that were on display were highlighted by a bright blue color, making it impossible to miss the smallest kind of guns. In fact, I'm pretty sure I just passed by a BB-gun.
Categorized in all kinds of manners, I could see all kinds of Assault Rifles, Carbine Rifles, SMG's, Shotguns, Pistols, Rocket Launchers, Grenades, Tesla Grenades, and so on.
As I sought for my kind of apetite, there was one thing that really stood out from the rest. It was not a gun, nor a gadget
It was a sword, emiting bright, green light. It actually reminded me of a Lightsaber to begin with, although I am pretty sure that the game is not able to name its weapon a Lightsaber due to copyright.
In the distance, Sinon could see that my mouth stood wide open when I saw this beauty of a weapon. Its color, its shape, it would have been my primary one-handed sword if I were still located in Sword Art Online.
By the soft approaching footsteps, I could tell that Sinon was nearing me.
"A Photon Sword? Kirito too was dripping some of his drool onto the ground when he saw a purple variant standing in the spotlights."
D-Dripping some drool? I immediately clean my lips, indeed feeling some saliva sticking on the palm of my hand. Not that it mattered anyway.
What did matter though, was the price of a weapon in this shop. I had no money to afford anything, so how would one obtain any money?
That's when an idea struck me. It's called: Puppy Eyes.
I turn my gaze over to Sinon, who could see I was looking at her with big, glistering eyes. I clench my hands together, bending over my body as if I am praying for Sinon to do something.
"W-What are you...?"
As soon as Sinon seemed to notice what's going no, she shoots gazes between me and the Photon Sword. In response to my puppy eyes, she submits.
"F...Fine! I'll pay for your stupid sword and your primary weapon."
"VICTORY!" I shout while making a victory pose, with Sinon merely standing next to me as she feels embarrassed. She must be glad no one is around her to see it, otherwise it could have badly hurt her reputation as a top-player.
