[EPILOGUE]

Scott Anderson, alpha of The Blue Moon Pack, of 19 years old died on August 20th, at 9:07 p.m.

Annabella Marie Woods-Anderson, Luna of The Blue Moon Pack and daughter of the alpha of The Crystal Moonlight Pack, 16 years old, died on August 21st at 5:46 a.m.

They never found Annabella's body after Jesse threw it in the river. However, Nathan Ashton, Annabella's best friend, did see Jesse leave the territory where Annabella was last seem. Annabella's father and the rest of the pack have gone back to The Crystal Moonlight Pack territory, to mourn for the loss of Annabella.

The river in which Annabella's body was found is now called Belle River, in honor or Annabella Woods. Those who passed the river thought the name was in french and called it Beautiful River, but if only they knew that the history of the Belle River wasn't as beautiful as the river itself.

No one told the story of how the river got it's name. It was a secret for the ones who had been alive in that time to keep. To the ones who wonder... well, continue to read to find out what myth they told those strangers that asked about the history of the river.

Years later, Zeke and Juliette Anderson are now the new alpha and Luna of The Blue Moon Pack. They have two children who are named Sarah and Ashton.

"JULIETTE!" yelled Zeke from the office that had formerly been Scott's.

Juliette who was in the kitchen of the pack house, put a batch of chocolate chip cookies in the oven. She set the timer and went upstairs. She walked though the already open door of the room and announced, "I was baking for the kids Zeke."

Zeke looked up from the paperwork he was signing and smiled at Juliette. "I'm sorry, Jules." His smile fell of his face and he said, "It's that time of year again."

For other people this would've meant Christmas, Easter, Spring Break or even Back to School shopping. But not for them, that time of the year, was anything but amazing or joyful. It was a time of remembering and sadness and grief. A time where time moved too slowly and everything stopped.

Juliette walked around the desk , sat down on Zeke's lap and wrapped her hands around his neck. With her head buried in his neck she whispered, "It seems like it happened yesterday. It never gets easier, does it?"

Zeke stayed silent for a moment. A mate was suppose comfort his mate, but with what? The truth or a lie? And how could he comfort his mate when he too was hurting?

He opted for the truth. "No, it doesn't. But there weren't always sad times. There were some really great times, and those are the moments we should. Always."

Juliette nodded, but still didn't believe him. Scott had been her only sibling, the only close family she had left after her parents death, and now he too was gone.

"I'm going to visit my cousin Derek at The Red River Pack, find out why he hasn't been returning my calls or why he never came to the funeral," Zeke explained. "I'll be taking Jasper with me. Will you be alright for the time I'll be gone?"

"How long will you be gone?"Juliette asked. She didn't like when Zeke would go on  pack business trips. One of those trips had gotten her father killed.

"No more than a week," Zeke promised.

Juliette nodded. "Yeah, I'll be alright. I have the kids and Jennifer to keep me company."
