Chp.1- A Very Special Welcome

I woke up to Victoria jumping on my bed and screaming "wakie, wakie!" at the top of her lungs.

 "I'm awake," I murmured groggily.

Tori kept jumping and singing. "Wake up, waaaaake up!" She started dancing on my back, but I couldn't see what dance moves she was throwing since I was laying on my stomach.

"Tori! I'm awake!" I screamed and pushed her off my back.

She fell off the bed with a loud thud. I rolled over to see her get up from the floor, dusted herself off, shrug and leave the room.

I looked over to my window and saw that it was still dark. Even the sun is tired of waking up so early. I got up, took a shower and changed into black, tight skinny jeans, a loose white t-shirt, a leather jacket and black combat boots. I left my black hair naturally wavy and applied lip gloss. When I thought I looked presentable I left my room and went downstairs to the kitchen.

There was my father, his beta and about 7 other male pack fighters of the best. They were swallowing all the food their system could hold up. Which wasn't a little, I might add.

"You might want go easy on the food. Believe it or not, I actually appreciate my six daily meals," I said sitting next to Nathan, the best fighter and my best friend.

"Really? I thought you were going on a hunger strike or something," Nathan said shocked. He poked my ribs and looked at me like I was a bacteria under a microscope.

"Cute," I sarcastically replied while shoving his shoulder.

My dad placed a plate with a stack of pancakes and bacon in front of me. I poured the syrup on top of them and began to dig in like a pig. I was done in a matter of seconds and noticed that everyone was staring at me.

"What?" I asked with my mouth full.

"Sometimes I forget you're a girl," Nathan said.

I looked at him and rolled my eyes. "Well sometimes I forget you're the best pack fighter."

Nathan growled and stood up abruptly knocking his chair back. To dismiss someone's title like that in any other pack is considered a disrespect. You might as well go pee on Steve Jobs' grave, because it's the same thing. A kick to a man's family jewels.

"Easy pup, you know your rank," I said dangerously calm.

Nathan's eyes turned back to their normal grass, green color and he picked up his chair and sat down again. He turned to me with an apologetic smile and I nodded in understandment.

You may be thinking: 'What a bitch!' Which is ironic if you think about it. Nathan is my best guy friend, heck! He's more like the brother I never had. But I am the alpha's daughter and all the guys are a bunch of sexist pigs. So, moral of the story is I have to earn my respect around here.

"Sometimes I wonder why you weren't born first," my dad chuckled. Krystal was a great leader, but she was a big softy and she had the biggest heart known to werewolf. Which was not always good since she was easy to manipulate.

"Me too father, me too," I said shaking my head.

I stood up and put my dishes in the dish washer. Then, I went upstairs to my room to get the bag I packed last night and my phone.

When I had all those things, I went downstairs to meet up with my dad and the people that would be coming along on this trip. When I went back stairs to the kitchen my dad was giving orders to the other people in the room. I placed my bag on the floor when my dad said my name, "Anna, you and Nathan can ride your own bikes."
