Nevermind your dance through a rainbow,
Shut eyes won't notice it.
Struggle to remember your melody as you created it,but
Deaf ears won't heed it.
Forego your vow and press your lips to him.
A broken heart won't register it.
Touches that leave behind a fiery trail,
Ignored hands won't feel it.
Eyes so beautiful, you can't decipher their hue.
Disoriented minds won't perceive it.
But you will.
Realize. Harshly.
The hate. The emptiness. The truth.
It hurts.
But it also sets you free.
