Joshua's Pov

I slowly opened my eyes letting my vision to adjust to the brightness. After fully opening my eyes I noticed that I was on a hospital. The smell of the medicines and other chemical invaded my nostrils. I quickly turned my head to the left, only to see Seungcheol Hyung sleeping soundly. Someone knocked on the door so I softly said "Come in" granting the person's permission to open the door and come in

"Joshua your awake" Dr. Lee said smiling as I smiled back as a response

I saw his name tag that's why I know he's name, alright

"Hnnngggghhhh" A groan was heard on my left side so I assumed that it was Seungcheol Hyung since he's the only one that was in my left

"Joshua! What time did you woke up?" He ask "Just now I guess" I said and softly smiled at him

"Excuse me but, may I have a word with you Mr. Choi" Dr. Lee said catching Seungcheol's attention "Oh... me?? Sure Dr. Lee, yeah... Yes of course" I mentally slapped my self of how did Seungcheol hyung just replied but Dr. Lee just smile and gestured him to follow

Seungcheol's Pov

I followed Dr. Lee on his office to talk about something which I think it was about Joshua's health or something. We stopped in front of a door with a sign that says 'Dr. Lee Byung Joon' which I assumed it was his office. He unlocked the door and went inside. He then sat on the chair and gestured me to sit with him

"So Seungcheol, Joshua's weight had dropped and I'm scared that he might starving himself. Oh and also we did an X-ray on him and I think that he has whatever called Hanahaki Disease which could be cured either the person he loves will love him back or when he get the surgery before its too late" Dr. Lee said with a worried face. I then gulped

"I'm not sure if he'll agree to this but I'll try to convince him" I said and smiled "Also tell him to not skip meals it's not good for his health" He said while texting someone on his phone. I bowed and stood up getting ready to leave

I was about to go to the other side of the room when I heard Dr. Lee say something again "And hey, my son said that I should tell you to meet him at Sebong Cafe tomorrow at 3pm. GoodLuck Seungcheol I'm rooting for you" Dr. Lee said and balled up his fist in the air, I genuinely smiled at him and mimicked his action then left

Is this even real? Did Dr. Lee just said that he likes me for his son? I thought as I walked along the corridors of the hospital and smiled. People were looking at me weirdly as if they saw a alien. I push my other thoughts aside and think about Joshua. He's not eating? He said he is? Did he lied to me about eating? It's because of his disease isn't it? I stop my train of thoughts and open the door of Joshua's room and entered only to see Joahua looking outside the hospital window

"Joahua" I said coldly, he then turned his direction to me with eyes widen in shock "Jeez hyung, you scared me... You should've just knock first you know?" He sigh

"Dr. Lee talk to me about your weight" I started he look at me with wide eyes, as he wasn't expecting that to come out of my mouth "W-what did he..." "He said you lost a lot, tell me Joshua did you lied to me about your eating?" I said suspiciously. He just gulped and look down. I sigh, already knowing the answer with his little gestures

"Since when?"

"Since I had this disease hyung, I'm sorry I just don't want you to get worried about me"

I then sigh "Fine I understand but please always remember that I'm always here for you okay?"

"Yes Hyung "

"..."

"..."

'Call me baby---'

EXO's Call me baby started playing out of nowhere and I felt my pocket vibrating and answered the call

"Hello---"

"SEUNGCHEOL!!! Is Joshua okay now!?"

"Who's this?"

"It's Jeonghan, please check the callers ID before answering"

"I could feel you eyes rolling you know"

"Is Joshua okay now? What happened?"

"Talk to him yourself" I said and handed the phone to Joshua which is violently shaking his head but I shoved the phone in his hand so he can't escape. He sigh and finally talk to the phone

"Jeonghan hyung? Yes I'm fine... There's nothing to worry about... I told you I'm fine... Yeah yeah whatever... Just say hi to Wonwoo for me okay?... Enjoy your date" He said obviously trying not to sound bitter but failing miserably at the last sentence. He then ruffled his own hair in frustration and let out a sigh

"Hey Joshua, the doctor mentioned about this surgery thingy that could heal your disease. Maybe you should get it" I voice out, he just continued looking at the phone

"No" He stubbornly replied "But you have to! You can't die!" I exclaimed slightly frustrated

"I c-can't hyung... I just love him t-too much" His voice got weaker and quiet to the point that his voice cracked at the end

"I understand but you can always tell me whenever you change your mind"

"Thanks Hyung"
