7. Dead, coma or alive?

3rd pov:

Tyler and Jason drove fast towards the hospital and Jason was crying in the back and Jayla was sleeping. Tyler was crying too because the images of Justin being lifted out of the car was so horrible, there was so much blood and he just didn’t know what to do right now.

Paramedics, police men, ambulance and doctors were called to the scene of the accident and of course the media was there too.

The doctors and paramedics were working to get Justin’s blood flow to stop because he was bleeding so much. His heart stopped beating twice but they got it going again. They lifted him on to a stretcher and as they put him in the ambulance he woke up.

“Mr Bieber can you hear me?” The doctor asked.

“T-tell Ty and J-Jase I love t-them so much and I wi-will be looking over th-them forever” Justin croaked out and held the doctors hand.

“I promise Sir” The doctor named Fredrik said and then Justin closed his eyes and his heart monitor flatlined. But the doctor was stubborn and he wouldn’t let Justin pass over to the other side so he gave him a shot right in to his heart and the monitor got a pulse again just as they arrived to the hospital. 

They rushed Justin in to the surgery room fast because it was minutes until he left them for good.

Tyler and Jason came running in to the ER both of them were crying and as Tyler was holding Jayla they asked the person behind the desk and she told them what was going on and she called for doctor Fredrik who had been in the ambulance with Justin. Tyler was walking around frantic and Jason was really scared now because he knew what dead meant and he had heard many people say that about his daddy, so he was really scared.

“Tyler Bieber?” Tyler heard and turned around to see a doctor with ambulance clothes and a lot of blood on them.

“Yes that’s me” Tyler said shaky.

“Your husband is right now in surgery and we are doing everything possible to save him, my name is doctor Fredrik and I was called to the scene of the accident and I was with your husband in the ambulance. His heart stopped three times but we got it beating again and before his heart stopped the third time he woke up and he told me to tell you that he loves you and someone named Jase very much and he would be looking over you both forever” 

“He said that?” Tyler croaked out tears rolling down his cheeks.

“Yes and then he closed his eyes and his heart stopped but, I wouldn’t allow that so we got his heart beating again but Mr. Bieber he is in a very critical condition and we don’t know if he will survive the surgery but the next 48 hours will set out his faith, but I promise you, we are doing everything we can to save him” Fredrik said and Jason came walking crying.

“S-Sir is my dad-daddy going t-to be o-ok?” Jason said crying and looked up at the man in front of him and this broke the doctor’s heart to see a kid like him, like that. So he bent down to Jason’s level and took his small hands in his.

“I promise you buddy we are doing everything we can to save your daddy” He said and Jason nodded and turned back to Tyler and hugged his leg crying.

“I wan-want daddyyyy” He cried in to Tyler’s leg and Tyler’s heart broke again hearing his son like this and he was happy Jayla was way too little to understand what was going on, but what people doesn’t know is that even if the baby doesn’t understand. They know something is wrong when someone acts different from what they are used too. So when Jayla heard Jason crying so hard she started crying too and Tyler was just lost, he didn’t know what to do.

As Tyler was standing trying to calm his kids down Zack and Selena came running in to the ER together with Shane and Cailin.

“Tyler Oh my god what happened?” Shane asked and Cailin took Jayla from Tyler and Selena and Zack pulled Jason away which was not easy.

“A fucking truck driver ran a red light and he hit Justin’s car and did you see the news” Tyler asked Shane and she nodded, that was all it took for Tyler to breakcompletely down.

“JUSTIN!” Tyler screamed and Shane fell to the floor and hugged him tight.

“I-I  ca-can’t l-live w-without h-him” Tyler said and hugged Shane tighter and he just started sobbing and Jason saw all of this and he couldn’t take it, to see his Papa this sad so he jumped down from his uncle Zack and ran passed all the doctors and down to the room where he had seen doctor Fredrik come from. Before Zack and Selena understood what happened Jason was already gone. Jason ran as fast as he could and he came to a room that had a really hard word on it so he pushed passed the door and he came in to the room seeing doctors all around the person. Then one doctor moved and he saw his daddy’s face.

“DADDYYYYYYYY” Jason sobbed and ran to Justin’s side, the doctors saw the little boy and how he was trying to climb up in the bed to his father.

“Little man you can’t be in here” a doctor said named Tom. But Jason didn’t even hear him all he saw was his daddy with all these machines around him and wires.

“DADDYYYY WAKE UP” Jason said and Fredrik bent down to the little boy and held his hand out.

“Buddy we are doing everything we can to save him, but you can’t be in here” he said and Jason was just sobbing and Fredrik picked him up and took him back to the waiting room where he found the double up since he was there before.

“Jason oh my god don’t ever run away like that again” Tyler came and hugged him tight as they both just cried now.

“Your son ran in to the surgery room and tried to climb up to Justin, we have a room you all can wait in instead of out here” Fredrik said and they all followed.

After 12 hours, four doctors came in to the room and everyone stood up fast.

“He is stable right now but he hit his head really bad and we don’t know how bad it is until he wakes up or if he ever wakes up, like Fredrik here told you before, these 48 hours will we see if he is strong enough” Doctor Tom said.

“Can we see him now?” Tyler asked.

“Only immediate family” The other doctor named Don said.

“I’m his husband and this is our son” Tyler said and the doctors nodded to follow them. They walked down a corridor and down to a small room. Jason was hugging Tyler really tight as they walked. They arrived to a blue door and the doctors warned them that Justin doesn’t look like himself and half his head is banded up. Tyler nodded and they opened the door.

“Oh my god baby” Tyler whispered as he sat down by Justin’s bed and Jason turned his head to where his daddy was laying.

“Daddy?” Jason asked in a whisper and looked at his father in the bed.

“Pa-papa, why isn’t daddy answering?” Jason asked and looked at Tyler.

“Be-Because he is sleeping buddy” Tyler said and took Justin’s hand in his. He saw that Justin still had his wedding ring on so he took Justin’s hand to his mouth and kissed it.

“I love you, please come back to us” Tyler whispered so Jason wouldn’t hear.
“Papa, can I lay down beside daddy?”  Jason asked and Tyler shook his head tears rolling down his cheek.

“No, not yet buddy” He said and Jason looked to the bed where his daddy was laying and he moved his small hand to his Papas and took his daddy’s hand.

“I love you daddy” he said and lay down in Tyler’s lap as he was holding his father’s hand.

An hour later a doctor came in to the room and Jason was sound asleep but to not risk anything the doctor named Tom called Tyler out of the room.

“I just wanted to tell you that your mother in law and your family has arrived, but there is something you should know, Mr. Bieber, your husband hit his head really hard and it really is a miracle that he is still alive, I saw the news now after the surgery and he is lucky to still be alive. But to the point, your husband is in a coma and we don’t know when or if he will ever wake up, it can take days, weeks, months or years or if not his brain will shut off. If and when he wakes up that’s when we know how bad he is hurt because so far we don’t know, but his left side of the brain got a tremendous blow so for all I know from experience, he will have a memory loss, but how severe it is we won’t know until he wakes up” the doctor said and Tyler looked in through the window at his husband in the hospital bed and then to his son.

“Thank you doctor can we please be alone now” Tyler said and the doctor nodded and left.

Tyler walked in to the room again and took Jason in his lap again and he grabbed Justin’s hand.

“I love you baby, please don’t forget that” Tyler whispered and kissed his hand “Our love is so strong it will make you remember us again.”
