34. School..Serious talk..Grounded

3rd pov:

When everyone woke up the next day they were like zombies. Justin didn’t want to leave the bed and Kelly was snuggled up to Justin, she might be 15 but she just lost her mom and mama, she needed her dad. Tyler was in bed too holding a sleeping Jayla so all four of them was in bed and no one had the intension to get up. Jason and Emory was wide awake and unlike Kelly, Emory knew that if her mom saw her mopping around about their death she would come and kick her ass, so she cried a little when she woke up to say goodbye then she let go and just remembered all their good times together.

That was how Selena and Zack had raised her to never let something that was good to be forgotten and when someone died never to mope around but to honor their lives.

“Hi baby, how are you feeling today?” Jason said and pulled Emory close to him.

“Better now when I’m with you” She said and sat up a little and kissed him.

“So I gotta go to school, wanna come with me or stay here?” he asked her.

“How many girls and boys are swooning around you?” she asked and Jason laughed.

“Ok I guess you are coming with me then” Jason said laughing and she winked at him. Jason knew how Selena and Zack raised Emory so this wasn’t weird for him to see her laughing and smiling, plus he knew if they both saw Emory cry more than one day they would come and kick her ass.

“Make me breakfast Jase, please I’m dying for your blueberry pancakes” she said and Jason just laughed.

“Yeah sure common gorgeous” he said and they got dressed and walked out to the kitchen but didn’t see anyone else.

“PAPA, DAD I’M MAKING BLUEBERRY PANCAKES WANT SOME?” Jason yelled up the stairs to his parent’s bedroom.

Justin and Tyler looked down at the two girls in their arms and Tyler was hungry but not Justin. Tyler took Justin’s hand and kissed it, Justin smiled a little and Tyler moved closer to him.

“Baby you have to eat, if Sel and Cailin saw you like this they would kick your ass babe” Tyler said and Justin sighed.

“I know they would, it’s just hard Cailin has been my best friend since fourth grade and now she’s gone, my daughters mom is gone how can I not be sad, and then there is Shane, Sel and Zack, Omg Dastan I have to call him” Justin said sitting up and Tyler pulled him to him.

“Jay babe we will fix everything alright but you have to eat” Tyler said and Justin just nodded. Tyler kissed him softly then yelled down to Jason they wanted some. Jason was cooking and Emory was setting the table. When she was done she walked up to Jason and put her arms around him.

“I love you Jase” She said and Jason let go of the mix and turned around.

“I love you too Em” he said and then kissed her twice and hugged her.

“Thanks Jase, for making me think of something else yesterday it helped” Emory said and Jason smiled and kissed her again.

“What are boyfriends for” he mumbled.

“You are the best boyfriend ever” She smiled at him and kissed him. After Jason started to fry the pancakes and Emory was watching him the whole time. She got a memory in her head when they were little and Justin and Selena were working on a song together and She and Jason were baking a cake, or more like Jason tried to teach Emory how to make a cake but it ended with a food fight and Justin and Selena had joined them so that was how Emory’s lesson ended, she laughed to herself as she thought back to that day.
