49. Meetings

Justin’s pov:

It’s been a week since that phone call and today I’m gonna sit down with the directors and my son telling them and him my whole life including the bad parts. I’m scared how Jason will see on this but I will change the name of Seth, Ollie and them because well Seth is our minister now and a friend to us so I don’t want my kids to know what he did to us. They heard it once when Ollie confessed to try and kill me but they were in so much shock they can’t remember it so now they will know the brutal truth and I’m gonna say Simon to Seth and Percy to Ollie because his name still gives me chills and not the good ones.

I was just getting ready to leave when Emory came in to our room.

“Hey dad, I just wanted to give you something, I found it in one of mom and dad’s boxes, I guess I never had the courage to open them after they died but I did yesterday and I found this” She said and held a frame with pictures of me and Selena way back. Also Emory has started calling me dad so don’t be confused. I took the frame and smiled big, so many nice memories.   

“Thank you Sweetie I’ll put it here” I said and put the frame on the dresser.   

“I love those pictures of you and mom” She said and pointed to the pictures we took at her tour before Emory was born.   

“Yeah we had so much fun, I remember that one when she was 8 months pregnant with you and Zack had work to do so she dragged me to the red carpet instead and Tyler didn’t like that at all because then he had to stay home” I said laughing and Emory laughed with me.

“I know, I remember when dad didn’t want to go she dragged you with her and Tyler was with dad having guys night or more like they were watching basketball games and Jason, Kelly and I were upstairs doing trouble” She said laughing and a tear fell down her cheeks.

“Hey come here” I said and opened my arms and she walked over to me and hugged me tight and she cried in to my chest.

“I miss them so much” She cried and I held her tighter.

“I know I miss them too sweetie, Ty and him always got me and the boys in trouble you’ll find out in the movie later” I said laughing and she cried harder.

“You know you’re my daughter too Emory right, maybe not biological but you are sweetie” I said and she hugged me tighter.

“I love you dad” she mumbled in to my chest just when Dash and Jason came in.

“Hey dad ready to- Em what’s wrong?” Jason asked and Emory looked up.

“Just miss mom and dad” she said and Jason came and hugged her.

“I’m so sorry Em, hey want to go with Dash and talk, dad and I gotta go” Jason said.

“No I just wanna listen to mom’s music, is that ok Dash?” she asked and he pulled her in to a hug.

“Sure Em common” Dash said and they started walking out.

“I’ll see if I can find a picture of you, dad and the boys back then I know he showed me once so but have a great day” Emory said and Jason walked up and kissed Dash bye and Em and Dash walked to her room.

“Hey I remember this frame Sel had it in the Award room” Jason said and I smiled.

“Yeah I know Emory gave it to me now, she found it in Sel and Zack’s boxes that were shipped here, I guess she finally let herself mourn, but we gotta help her stay away from drugs, because that’s why she started she didn’t want to face her feelings” I said and Jase sat down on mine and Ty’s bed.
