20. Happy..Confused..Sad

Jayla’s pov:

Me and uncle Ryan was just outside the Arena where daddy will be performing. Ry stopped the car and we saw all the fans screaming and jumping around screaming my daddy’s name it was crazy. Ry turned to me and with a shocked expression on his face.

“Is this how all his shows are?” he asked me and I nodded.

“Yup and hey look there is Jase and Em” I said and pointed to the two that were holding hands laughing talking to some fans I guess.

“So I guess if we get out of the car we get mobbed since you’re his daughter” he asked and I said ‘Yup’.

“Ok I’m gonna call him so someone can get out here and help us in” Ry said and I nodded.

Ryan called daddy and 20 minutes later we were escorted in to the building. Jase saw me came walking in so he let go of Emory’s hand and ran straight towards me I did the same and he scooped me up.

“Hey sissy, I’ve missed you, how are you?” he said and hugged me tight.

“Hi Jase, I’ve missed you too and I’m good uncle Ry is here too…but where is daddy I wanna see him” I said bouncing up and down in his arms.

“He was here a minute ago” Jase said looking confused but when we turned our heads Ryan and daddy were hugging and tears were rolling down both their cheeks. I didn’t even know daddy knew uncle Ryan.

“Does daddy know uncle Ry?” I asked Jase and he smiled big.

“Yeah Jayla uncle Ry and daddy used to be best friends before papa and daddy separated” he explained to me and I nodded letting him know I understood. Emory came up and hugged me too saying she missed me, and of course I told her I missed her too. When Ryan and daddy let go I jumped down from Jase’s arms and ran to my daddy.

“DADDY!!!!” I yelled and he turned around and smiled big.

“There’s my princess” He said and scooped me up in his arms and I hugged him so tight.

“I missed you daddy” I said and buried my face in his shoulder.

“I’ve missed you too princess I’m so happy you are here” he said and kissed my head I turned my head and kissed him on the lips.

“I love you daddy” I said and hugged him tighter.

“I love you too baby girl” he said and hugged me tight to him. After that I didn’t let go of daddy at all, I was like Jase say about Kelly when she comes here, I was glued to him.

We were walking around in the arena and I was still up in daddy’s arms as he was talking to uncle Ryan. As we were walking I saw Alex came in from the door he had bags of food with him. I smiled super big because I love Alex.

“ALEX!” I yelled and squirmed to get down from daddy.

“Easy baby girl daddy has to put you down” he laughed and put me down, as soon as my feet were on the ground I ran up to Alex and he just had time to put the bags down before he caught me in his arms.

“Hi kiddo, you happy to meet daddy again” he asked me and I nodded as I had my head in his shoulder.

“So you excited for your party?” he asked me.

“Yeah but I’m more excited for you and daddy to come and see where we live here” I smiled and Alex kissed my head saying he can’t wait. He put me down again and I ran to daddy and uncle Ry again. Daddy picked me up again and Alex came up to us and kissed daddy hi and said hello to Uncle Ryan, but he didn’t look very happy to see Alex and I didn’t understand why that was. But he hid it very well that’s for sure. I jumped down from daddy again and walked to find Jase and Emory.

As I walked around I found them in daddy’s dressing room kissing and watching a movie.

“Jase, why are you and Emory kissing like that?” I asked when I came in and they both pulled away.

“Oh hey Jayla, well she’s my girlfriend that’s why” Jase said and I just said ok, then jumped on them both and they started tickling me. We watched the movie until daddy came in and Uncle Ry and Alex were behind him. It was an hour left to daddy would start the show and we were all sitting and watching as daddy were getting ready. Uncle Ry and daddy talked old memories and I was super shocked, what I could understand from all was that daddy and Uncle Ry have known each other since they were born. I never knew that before, I wonder what else they have hidden from me.

The show started soon after and we were all standing backstage to watch him but after three songs Jason pulled me out and we walked to the middle to stand with Scooter and we watched the whole show from there.

When the show ended daddy jumped in the shower and then when he was done we left for Grammy’s house and Ry followed us there. Jase and Emory stayed in his room he had here and I ran to my room. I was so tired from the day so I got ready for bed and tomorrow I was turning six years old and the party, I’m so excited. I kissed everyone goodnight and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light.

Jason’s pov:
When Jayla had fallen asleep Uncle Ry dropped his act around Alex, I still don’t know why he hates him but I know it has something to do with papa and dad’sbreak up. 
Grammy was in the kitchen with Emory and I just came back from the bathroom and heard Ryan and dad speaking. Alex was upstairs fixing their room.
I stopped by the corner to listen what they were saying.

“Justin, how are you feeling about seeing Ty again?” Ryan asked dad and dad looked sad.

“I don’t know Ry, not if he’s getting married again and to this Ollie guy, have I ever meet him?” dad asked and Ryan nodded.

“Yeah you know him it’s just I’m not gonna say anything because it sounds like Ollie is the one that got your brain working again so yeah, I hope when you see him you will remember” Ryan said and just like that dad broke down and that broke my heart.

“I miss him Ry, I miss him so much, I wish I never had that stupid car accident, or that I divorced him, I’m so stupid” Dad said and my own tears fell. Because unlike Jayla, I remember dad and papa together, and see dad like this, it hurts.

“Justin I really am sorry for how I treated you and just never listened to you, I really am sorry and I’m even more sorry for what I’m about to tell you” Ryan sighed and hugged dad.

“No, please don’t say it” Dad sobbed and Ryan held him tighter.

“I’m so sorry Jay, he told me he will always love you but he is moving on with Ollie now and that he have a part of his heart, but the rest will always belong to you” Ryan said and dad sobbed harder. It was freaking scary to see.

“Ryan please tell him that I will always love him” dad whispered and Ryan nodded. I couldn’t hear any more so I walked up to my room and fell on the bed and cried. I hugged the pillow tight as my tears were rolling down my cheeks. Dad finally remembers and now it’s too late. I like Ollie he's ok, but I dont feel safe around him, but I love Alex he's more like an Uncle it's hard to explain all i know is that i feel safe with Alex. But my dream will always be that dad and papa get back together. As I was laying there Emory came in and she closed the door behind her and crawled down in bed with me, she pulled me to her and I told her everything and she kissed me and just held me tight until I fell asleep.

This day started good but it didn’t end well and I hate knowing dad remembers papa now, only now it’s too late, I wonder what will happen tomorrow at Jayla’s birthday party?
