42. Feeling safe and Loved

Jason’s pov: 

When I woke up today I saw Kelly had fallen asleep on me after our laughing fit yesterday. I feel like I’m in heaven right now, I just can’t believe that Dash is really back, when I saw him I thought I was dreaming. I don’t even think of Emory right now I guess her spell on me is finally broken. I smiled at that and shook Kelly awake.

“Sis wake up we got school” I yawned and rolled her off me.

“Mm just 5 more minutes” she mumbled.

“No get up now” I said and shook her again.

“No”   “Yes” I said laughing just as my phone vibrated. I grabbed it and saw Dash sent me a message.

“Get up Kells, Dash is picking us up” I said and jumped of the bed and she laughed.

“Happy to see you smile again… fine I’ll get up, but he better bring breakfast” she said and headed to her room, I just laughed and sent Dash a text back and asking if he could bring breakfast and he texted me back that he would.

I started fixing myself and jumped in the shower and then found some nice clothes and when I came back in my room Emory was sitting on my bed and I clenched my jaw.

“What do you want?” I asked.

“Can we ever be friends?” she asked me.

“I don’t know” I said and went to fix my hair.

“I’m sorry Jason, I’m so sorry that I hurt you, I still love you, I will always love you” she said and walked up to me but I backed away.

“No because if you LOVED me, you wouldn’t been such a bitch to me” I said hurt.

“I’m sorry what else do you want me to say, and I DO LOVE you” she said and I snorted.

“Yeah right, just leave me alone Emory, you hurt me so bad, I need time” I said and she snorted this time.

“Time? You are fucking together with your first boyfriend Jason, and you didn’t even think how it made me feel to see you kissing someone else” She barked.

“Well I’m sorry, I didn’t plan it, he hasn’t even been here, but yes I’m happy he’s back because I’m no longer under your spell, and it took me 1,5 fucking year to realize that and I have thought about him every day since he left but when you came back I pushed it away, so I’m sorry but I’m not your boyfriend anymore, if you don’t remember you cheated on me so you can’t tell me what to do, so if you excuse me, my boyfriend is waiting for me” I said and stormed out from my room.

“KELLY, DASH IS HERE ARE YOU COMING?” I shouted, I knew he had breakfast for me in the car so that was a good thing.   

“COMING” Kelly shouted and came running from her room.

I saw dad and papa in the kitchen kissing and smiling.   “Bye dad, bye papa, Kelly and I are leaving, see you later” I said and they looked at me and looked shocked.

“Dad, papa stop worrying I’m fine, see you later” I said.

“Ok have a good day Jase. Jayla and Emory breakfast” Dad shouted and Kelly and I walked out the door. As we came out we saw Dash leaning against his car holding a Tim Horton’s bag.

“Ahh Dash I love you” Kelly said and grabbed the bag before jumping in the backseat.

“Well your sister is just cheerful… but it’s a good thing you told me she was coming, I got two more bags in the car” he said and I smiled and walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him.
