14. Popstar....Remembering?

3rd pov:

Justin has been working on an album now for almost eight months and today it will be released. Many people in the industry are excited especially the people he has been working with before. He has done some upbeat songs and some acoustic songs and Jason and Kelly can’t wait to hear their daddy sing.

Justin and Alex live together now in Justin’s apartment with Jason, and Kelly is there every weekend. Shane and Cailin have had a hard time to accept Alex in Justin’s life but they see Justin is happy so they try too. All his friends and family miss the old Justin but they stopped pushing him and they just talk to him normal now. Ryan and Justin have drifted apart because Ryan can’t forgive Justin for breaking his brother’s heart but he goes to visit Jason when he is over in Canada at Tyler’s apartment or his parent’s house.

Tyler knows that Justin has gone in to the industry of music now and he is happy for him but it is hard to see. Justin and Tyler haven’t spoken since Tyler left. Justin has tried to call him, but Tyler can’t. 

Justin invited Tyler and Jayla to be there with him when the album is released but Tyler hadn’t answered back.

It was now eleven a clock and in 30 minutes the fans that had been standing outside was gonna be let in as Justin would do his first performance ever. Justin was nervous like hell and was walking around repeating lyrics in his head. When he got something that flashed in front of him;

He was standing with a puck in his hand and saw the big crowd of people sitting down, then he saw a boy coming to him.

“Tyler I’m so nervous what if I miss to pass to Ryan” he shouted and the older boy hugged him.

“You will do fine Justin, you and my brother are the best, now go out there and make me proud little brother” 

“Thanks Tyler” he said and they did a handshake.

Justin just stood there, he remembered Tyler from a young age as he was a hockey player. He was his big brother when they were kids. Then he got something else like a flash.

“Jay babe look, you will do great you will kick their asses and win the whole school Basketball champion, now go, I will be right here waiting for you” He heard Tyler say and kissed him fast because the rest of his team came in.

“Oh my god, he was always there” Justin mumbled to himself. He looked around the room and nobody was there. He looked down on his arm and he still had the tattoo left of the kids and Tyler’s name. Justin and Alex had fucked a lot but they never made love and Justin couldn’t say I love you back to Alex when he had said it to him, it was like something was stopping him to say it back. They had a fight after but Alex loved Justin too much so they ended up having fierce make up sex. 

As Justin was standing there he couldn’t pin point what it was but something was missing, he shook the thought away and started getting ready and he grabbed his guitar and his microphone and walked out.

As he sat down he saw all his kids including Jayla sitting in Alex lap as the other two was in Shane and Cailin’s laps. His siblings and mom was there, his team mates, his friends from Canada except Ryan, Selena and Zack with Emory was there too of course. But he was disappointed when he didn’t see the face he was really looking for. He hid his emotions very well and just started to sing his first song As long as you love me.

Justin’s release was airing worldwide on TV so Tyler was in his office and saw the whole thing on TV and when he heard Justin sing As long as you love me, his tears started to roll down his cheeks that was the song Justin had made for him. He shook it away and focused on his work when he got a text on his phone from Ryan saying he had set him up with an old friend of his and Tyler just laughed at his brother. Tyler kept working and just ignored the TV as much he could before he shut it off completely.

Back on the release Justin had started to remember small stuff as he sang some songs. When he was done performing he just tried to focus on signing everything and well his team mates were really happy for him but they knew this was the end for Justin’s basket career they all knew it. When Justin was done he sat down to sign the CD’s and it didn’t take long before they were all gone and he signed his basketball shirt and some pictures. Then there was a boy he had a photo of Justin and Tyler kissing at a game, and Justin just signed it very fast. But the picture was printed in his head already and that made him scared. Like the doctor had said he was starting to remember now. Now it was just one thing he thought. Did he make a huge mistake to separate from Tyler? He liked Alex a lot but now it felt like something was missing.

The month after Justin found out he was doing a American tour because he sold platinum over one night so the record label saw a big opportunity so they signed him on Island of def jam because Usher had told them he was good, so he now had a contract with them. Justin’s basketball coach knew he had lost his best player and that this was the last he would be at practice. Justin was already a big Popstar and his tour started next week. His first concert would be at MSG and there would be reporters from all media and they would have an interview with him after his concert. Everything was so surreal and Justin had a hard time to get his head around it. All of his friends had told him this would never have happened if he had been the old Justin, since nobody knew he could sing except Tyler, Selena and Jason.

Jason was super excited to see his daddy perform for so much people but he misses his papa every day he was 6 now. He liked Alex but it wasn’t his papa. Justin often found Jason sleeping with a picture of him and Tyler together and it was hard to see his son like that. Justin had invited Tyler to come but again he didn’t get a response more than that Jayla would be there. 

Justin had started to remember small stuff from his childhood and he was super happy because he actually remembered his friends like Dastan, Ryan, Chaz, Zack and Tyler from younger days. The only memory he has had as an older was that day at the release party but nothing after that. Justin was really excited to get out on that stage and show everyone what he has been working on. The album he made is called Believe and he put the two songs he made for Tyler on the album and then there was some upbeat song and slow songs too. He was still sad that Ryan wasn’t here since it was his best friend but since that day Justin signed the divorce papers Ryan haven’t even spoken to him, and he didn’t thought of it as much before as now, because now he actually remember stuff they used to do and what a trouble maker he was, but now there was no one to tell. 
Jason and Emory was standing in a corner dancing and singing, Kelly and Jayla was playing with their dolls on the floor, while Justin was changing. Selena came in to see where her daughter had wondered off to and soon found her with the rest of the kids. Everyone was here except two people and that was Ryan and Tyler, and that hurt more than Justin could’ve thought.
 As he was standing fixing his clothes Selena came to help him with the microphone and the mic-pac.

“Are you nervous?” She asked him.

“Terrified” Justin answered.

“Hey look you will do great, you have a voice that is ten times better than mine and an energy like god himself Justin  you’re gonna rock this” She said smiling.

“Thanks, I just wish Tyler and Ryan could be here too, that’s all” Justin sighed and Selena turned him around and hugged him tight.

“Listen to me Justin, one day you will remember everything and they will both be disappointed in them selfs for not being here ok, you have kids that adores you, and looks up to you like you’re their hero, which you are. Plus you have an amazing and supportive boyfriend and family waiting to see you” She said and Justin smiled big then Selena pulled away from him “Oh and don’t forget the millions of fans you have, now break a leg” She laughed.

“Thanks Sel that meant a lot, thank you”

“You’re welcome so are you ready to blow this arena up or what?”

“Let’s do this” Justin said and they did a handshake then turned to their kids and see Emory and Jason giving each other kisses.

“And what do you think you two are doing?” Selena said putting her hand on her hip looking at the two.

“Kissing, I like Kissing Em, her lips are so soft” Jason said and Justin and Selena burst out laughing.

“Ok well stop that and common lets go, so we can get ready…. god you’re six and already likes kissing, your dad is not gonna be happy Em” Selena said and Emory smiled and pecked Jason’s lips again before they walked out.

“Those two are gonna be the death of us” Justin laughed as he walked to the stage. They had a prayed circle then everyone took their places and the show was in full speed.

Justin was living the life out on the stage and he saw all the proud faces in the crowd but the best reward was to see his kids so proud of him. As he came of stage reporters were standing there to greet him but Justin walked passed then and walked straight up to Alex and kissed him hard. Then the kids came running in and the rest of the night was just magical and he couldn’t wait for his next performance. He was born to do this.
