41. Truth out..Happy again

Justin’s pov:

I was just about to start the dinner when Jayla and Emory came in through the door talking to someone. I walked away from the kitchen and looked in to the hallway and saw an older guy and he was joking with Jayla. I really hope that isn’t her boyfriend because then he is dead. Emory was talking to him and flirting maybe it was the guy she talked about last week? Ok stop thinking Justin and use your mouth.

“Hey guys did you had a good day in school?”

“Yup I got a new gym teacher today” Jayla said and looked at the older guy, hmm interesting. I was just about to ask Emory when Jason ran down the stairs.

“Dad did anyone come home? I heard the front door” he said and walked up to me.

“Well Jayla, Emory and –“   

“Babe you made it” Jason said and this guy smiled big and walked up to my son.

“Of course I did baby” he said and Jason smiled big and pulled him down to a kiss. Both me and Emory stood there shocked as Jason was kissing this guy but Jayla was just smiling.

“The fuck Jason we broke up not even a week ago and you’re already kissing some other dude” Emory barked and Jason pulled away from this guy.

“He’s not a dude he’s my boyfriend” Jason shot back and wow my head is spinning, but somehow the guy was very familiar.

“So I guess I didn’t mean anything to you since you just date the next best guy coming along” Emory said and Jason snorted.

“Say’s the girl flirting in front of me at least I’m honest, and Dash isn’t just the next best guy he was my first boyfriend and before you got here we had been together for a year, and yes we’re back together, so yes I’m over you, go be with Luke” Jason said and Emory snorted.

“Fuck you Jason” Emory spit and Jason smirked.

“Nah already did that, but you can go and fuck Luke or the other one you already fucked, Henry right, I don’t care” Jason said and finally I found my voice.

“OK ENOUGH” I said and they both shut up.

“Jason and Emory I told you before you have to solve this as adults not children” I said.

“I’m sorry dad, but can Dash stay please” Jason begged and I couldn’t say no to him.   

“Yeah it’s ok, go up to your room Jase and I’ll be there soon” I said and Jason grabbed Dash’s hand and walked up to his room where I heard Kelly talking to them both. I turned my head to Jayla and gave her please explain to me look.

“Jason is telling the truth dad, Jase and Dash were together before Emory and Kelly got here, but his family found out and sent him away, but he came back now and he’s my new gym teacher and he told his family to fuck off because they didn’t accept him and he came back for Jase. Jason and Emory’s breakup was just a coincidence, but he really came back to be with Jason again plus Dash is cousin Jack’s best friend remember” Jayla said and now I knew why he seemed familiar, he was the boy Jack always hung out with and brought to our camping trips.

“He’s the Dash we…Wow ok so why didn’t I know about them before?” I asked.

“Well because of Dash’s family they were sneaking around so no one would know but papa knows who Dash is, well he knows him as Jack’s best friend and not as Jase’s boyfriend but anyway that’s the story” Jayla said and took a deep breath. 

“I know who he is too Jayla it’s just I haven’t seen the boy in a long time” I said and Jayla smiled then I looked at Emory and she was still standing there looking blank.

“Em, sweetie?” I asked and she looked up at me.

“I’m so sorry Justin, I didn’t mean to- it’s just I know who Dash is too Jason talked to me about him before, but I never knew how he looked like, I guess I do now” She mumbled. Just then Kelly walked down the stairs and when she saw Emory she became mad.

“Oh for cryin out loud Em, You cheated on him with some random guy named Henry then you dumped him saying you had feelings for someone else and you flirted and hit on Luke in front of Jason do you know how much you hurt him, Jason and I we were sitting at the meadow and he just told me about Dash and how much he missed him and how he missed feeling safe, and he could always make him smile and be happy again. After 80 minutes it was like god heard him because Dash showed up and he was happy again, just remember you cheated on him not the other way around and when I hear your apology to him you can speak to me again, until then talk to the hand” Kelly said and I was stunned, did my daughter just say that. Damn she is just like her mother.

“I’m sorry ok, but he didn’t have to kiss him in front of me” Emory said and Kelly rolled her eyes.

“Like that was more worse than seeing you sit in Luke’s lap kissing his cheek for three fucking hours” Kelly barked back and now I finally understood why Jason reacted the way he did even Kelly.

“Emory is this true?” I asked and she looked down at the floor biting her lip and nodded slowly.

“I understand how Jason is feeling now, I’m really disappointed in you Emory and if your mother and father could see you they would be pissed and frankly so am I. Yes Jason should apologize for what he said but you owe him a big apology young lady, now go to your room” I said and Emory nodded and she walked out to the pool house and I walked up to Jason’s room.

I knocked on the door and heard ‘come in’ so I did.

“Hey guys sorry it took so long” I said and Jason was sitting in Dash’s lap as they looked at something on the computer.

“It’s cool dad” Jason smiled and I smiled just because he was happy again.

“Well Dash sorry I didn’t recognize you before but now I see you were the guy Jack brought with him to our camping trips, you’ve grown quite a lot, but I’m happy you like my son” I said smiling.

“It’s ok Justin and I don’t like Jase, I love him” he said and looked at Jase.

“I love you too” Jason said and kissed Dash softly then I cleared my throat and they pulled apart.   

“Sorry” they mumbled smiling and I chuckled.   

“It’s ok, I’m happy you got Jason to smile again so thank you” I said and he lifted Jason’s head and kissed him again.

“My pleasure” he said and intertwined his fingers with Jason’s.

“Well, welcome to the family” I said and Jase smiled big as Dash stood up and hugged me.

“Thanks Justin, I promise I won’t hurt your son” Dash said and that made me smile even bigger.

“You better not” I said laughing and they both smiled.

“Well I’m gonna cook dinner now so but are you staying for dinner Dash?” I asked.

“If it’s not too much trouble, yes please” he said and I walked out and just as I was about to close the door Jason kissed Dash super hard and Dash pulled Jason closer and they fell down on his bed, they kind of remind me of me and Ty a little. I just laughed at that and walked down to the kitchen were Jayla was doing herhomework.

“So… care to tell me about Jase and Dash?” I asked and Jayla looked up from her books.

“Dad if you’re trying to snoop around, you don’t have to, Dash is a really great guy and he was always there for Jase when you were on tour and he missed you, if it hadn’t been for Dash, Jason would’ve have lost it completely while you were gone, so you don’t have to worry” she said and I smiled.

“Well I’m happy he did and Jayla I know Dash too I just didn’t recognize him” I said and she giggled.

“Well that’s good but don’t worry dad, Jase is in good hands” she said laughing and I laughed with her, then she went back to her homework and I went back to make dinner and 10 minutes later Kelly came in too.

“What are you making dad?” she asked me and I said tacos. Jayla dropped her homework and both Jayla and Kelly helped me fixing the vegetables and put everything up in bowls.

At 6 pm Tyler walked in through the door.

“Hey I’m home” he said and soon he emerged in to the kitchen and walked up to me wrapping his arms around me.

“Hey baby, I missed you today it was such a hard day you cannot believe it” he said and kissed my neck.

“Naaw my poor baby I’ll take care of you tonight” I said and turned around and kissed him.

“Mhm I like that” he said and kissed me again.

“Dad, Tyty no fucking in the kitchen” Kelly said and we both laughed.

“We’re not, we were just kissing” Tyler said and Kelly grabbed the bowl with tomatoes.

“Yeah whatever should I go tell Jase and Dash its dinner?” Kelly asked and I nodded.

“Yeah do that, just knock before, so you don’t walk in on something you don’t want to see, Jayla please go get Emory” I said and both the girls disappeared.

“Ok did I miss something or has Jason gone mad or something, is he seriously fucking a new boy?” Tyler asked me and I told him everything that went on and he just nodded but when he saw Jason and Dash he smiled.

“So it was you, I thought it was a new Dash, so you finally admit you’ve been a couple even though I suspected it before” Tyler smiled and Dash pulled Jason to him and kissed him saying yup, then they sat down and Emory and Jayla came back too.

We sat down to eat and we said our graze before we started eating and Emory glanced up in Jason’s direction as Jase was laughing at something Dash whispered to him before continue to eat. After dinner Dash said bye and drove home and Jason pulled Kelly in to his room and Jayla was sitting with me and Tyler watching TV and Emory had gone back to the pool house. I really think she regrets breaking up with Jason now that she sees him with another guy, but if she wants to talk she will come to me. Jayla soon said good night and walked to her room and Tyler and I did the same and we got ready for bed. As we crawled down and cuddled close in the bed I put my head on Tyler’s chest and we heard Kelly and Jason laughing in his room.

“Well now when I know it is Dash that Jason is together with I’m not worried, Dash is a great guy, he’s family is the hell itself though, but he’s good for Jason” Tyler said.

“They kind of remind me of us a little” I said and Tyler smiled.

“They sure do, I just hope Emory and Jason can be friends or she will have to move in with Dastan and his boys, he is her uncle” he said and maybe that was a good idea, but we were her godparents but maybe it was for the best.

“Let’s talk to her tomorrow and see what she wants” I said and Tyler turned my head and kissed me.

“Let’s do that… night baby, love you” he said and kissed me twice.

“Love you too, sweet dreams” I said and kissed him one last time then cuddled close to him and we both soon fell asleep while hearing Kelly and Jason laugh about something.   

I hope Emory and Jason can solve this as adults, because right now they are both hurt.
