33. Why hadn't they texted me before or even called me?

Jason's pov: 

I woke up late this morning and when I saw dad was home I was ecstatic but I couldn't more than say hi and bye before I ran out the door and sprinted down to school. Ian was gone so school was gonna suck a lot and it did, in second period I was so bored and the new math teacher she was a nutjob, and I didn't understand anything she said, I looked down at my bracelet and thought back to his eyes and his smile. I missed Ian, I really did, but someone I missed even more was Dash, I missed him so much, him and my girl. I haven't spoken to Emory for months now and I miss her. I might have said we are friends but that's when we are away from each other when we are together we're back as a couple most of the time, sometimes we just stay friends with benefits, but we like it that way.

Just to forget Ian I made out with Nelly and Olivia saw us and she was not happy, but really I didn't care. 

Nelly asked me if I wanted to go to the bowling alley tonight and I said sure why not. The school bell sounded and I meet up with PJ and Jack at the lockers.

"Jase, are you ok man?" PJ asked me and I just shrugged my shoulders.

"I'll live" I said and PJ frowned and Jack knew PJ wanted to say something to me so he walked away to get his car.

"Jase stop acting so tough, I know you liked him" PJ said referring to Ian.

"I didn't like him, I love him, I don't love him as much as I do Dash, but I love him, ok so can you just drop it please" I said and he nodded.

"So you made out with Nelly I heard, I guess we're going bowling then?"

"Yup, let's go" I said and we walked out to the car and Jack was waiting for us and we headed home. One thing PJ learned about me was that if I said no he changed the subject.

"I'll call you guys later, dad came home last night and I just saw him 1 minute this morning so I wanna spend some time with him, but I'll call you later though" I said and both nodded and drove away, and I walked up to the door and opened it.   "Hey I'm home" I shouted but I didn't get an answer back so I walked in to the living room and I saw dad crying like crazy while papa was holding him.

"Dad, why are you crying?" I asked and papa just showed me to come close and sit down.

"Jase, we have to tell you something" papa said also tears in his eyes.

"Ok you're scaring me" I said and my throat felt tight.

"Emory and Kelly are gonna be living here now, with us" papa said and I smiled. That's so great news, I miss them so much, but why was dad crying?

"That's great news, so why is dad crying did Sel do something stupid?" I asked and this time papa's tears fell too.

"Yeah they all did something stupid" papa said and I just stared at him.

"Will you tell me what please, you're freaking me out papa is Sel and Cailin and them ok?" I asked and dad turned to me and opened his arms for me. I walked up to him and he hugged me tight then he took a deep breath and pulled me away then looked in to my eyes.

"They're dead Jase" he said and my heart just fell apart.

"A-All of them?" I choked out.

"Yes" dad said and I did what dad had done before, I cried my eyes out. Aunty Sel and Uncle Zack were gone and so were Shane and Cailin. I just hugged dad tighter and papa held us both.
