Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! I skipped last week's chapter upload because things got so hectic after work trying to prepare for Thanksgiving Day. I plan on uploading the rest of this book before Christmas and start posting book two in 2020. That's right, there's a book two! I'm really excited about it and hope to start rewriting and editing Becoming the Bad Girl by the end of next year to start pitching it for publishing. So votes, likes, comments, and feedback are always welcome!

"Do you think it's safe to go to JJ's?" Draven asked the next morning as we sat on some logs eating canned fruit. Pineapples had never tasted so good.
"It should be." Raiden replied, "If someone followed us and didn't make a move last night then I don't know what they're waiting for."
"So no one did. We're safe to go to JJ's." Finn agreed. The three of them nodded as Venus and I just sat quietly eating our fruit. I think the two of us were still a little nervous after we were attacked. She hadn't spoken very much this morning and when she did she wasn't herself. Not that I blamed her, I wasn't either.
"Let's get packing then so we can head out already," Draven said getting up. The three of them started packing up the tent along with the blankets.
"Are you okay?" Venus asked as she moved over to the log I was sitting on.
I nodded, "A bit cut up but I'm alright," I joked. Venus had a small smile for my lame attempt at a joke and I think she really needed a laugh to get her back to herself. "Are you?"
She shrugged, "I guess; I'm not a badly hurt as you but," she stopped as if thinking for the right thing to say, "I guess it just finally dawned on me that I'm not as tough as I think. I mean I can shoot a gun perfectly and I guess I let that get to my head that I didn't need to know how to fight because I had a weapon."
"And now that you were attacked and didn't have a gun you felt defenseless?" I guessed.
She nodded, "Every time Draven would try and teach me to fight I wouldn't take it seriously and we would end up making out. Guess I should've known better. I can't throw a mean punch and keep a bitch off me, but being snuck up on," she shook her head, "I guess I never thought about that because the guys are always with me."
"Well look at the bright side," I said nudging her, "You have someone to train with because let's be honest here, I'm less useful than a broken compass."
Venus let out an honest laugh and I was happy to see her slowly becoming herself again. "I tell you what," she said facing me, "You help me bug the crap outta the guys about training hand to hand combat and I'll teach everything there is to know about a gun, deal?"
I nodded, "Deal."

The ride to JJ's was a short one. And by short, I mean shorter than our usual drives because his house was only two hours away.
We didn't stop anywhere to eat since Raiden and I were covered in blood and Venus looked like she ran into someone's fist repeatedly. So when we did show up to JJ's we looked like hell. The look on JJ's face didn't help when he answered the door looking horrified. I don't know what else I expected someone to look like if they opened their front door to a bloodied and bruised group carrying duffle bags.
"Hey cousin," Raiden said like nothing was wrong.
"What the hell happened to you?" he asked. JJ resembled Raiden closely. The only difference was JJ had light brown hair and deep brown eyes. However, their facial features were similar and so were their to kill for tans.
