By the time we finished shopping, we had spent most of our combined money. In fact, Draven and Finn had to give us an extra thirty dollars. Venus and I had agreed on many things together for me. She even bought some things she would look great on me hoping I would change my mind and wear it; not likely. But in the end, we were happy with our choices.

We got back to the motel just before twelve. Raiden wasn't back yet but apparently that was expected. Venus was determined to pick my outfit for me. She literally pushed me into the bathroom and told me she would place my clothes in the room before I was done.

True to her word when I finished there were clothes lying out on the counter for me. When I saw what she had picked out for me I was horrified. I couldn't pull something like this off!

"Um, Venus!" I called.

"Don't fight it! Put it on!" she yelled back through the door, "And no buts!" she called before I had the chance to argue.

I was nervous to walk out when I had finally gotten dressed. I wore a white tank with a white, lace, long-sleeved shirt, black shorts, and a pair of black doc martens. I had never been more thankful to have shaved before.

I walked out as I fumbled with my clothes, "Venus I don't think I can pull something like this off." I said as I looked up. "What?" I asked as I looked at everyone's faces, "Is it bad?" I asked.

"Quite the opposite actually," Finn responded.

"I would so bang you," Venus said as she looked me over.

I could feel my cheeks burning and knew I was beat red, "I'm changing." I said turning around.

"Oh no you don't!" Venus called as she ran over. "You're not changing. We don't have the time." She sang as she locked herself in the bathroom.

"I'll get you back for this!" I shouted at her. I heard her loud laughter before it was drowned out by the shower.

I turned back to the three boys who were surrounding the queen-sized bed while still staring at me. I had heard Raiden talking when I got out of the shower and knew he was back.

"Don't sweat it, you look great," Raiden said as they got back to work. Guns were laid out on the bed and they were currently cleaning and loading them. Raiden's reassurance was welcomed because I was feeling extremely self-conscious right now. And because of his reassurance, I decided to forgive him for using me as a charity case, for the time being that is.

I tried not to think of the dozen or so weapons in the room and instead busied myself with packing my clothes into the bags Venus assured me we would need.

By the time everything was packed in the car and everyone had showered it was just passing two-thirty. We were getting ready to take off when Venus stopped me.

"You'll need this." She said handing me a leather jacket.

"But-" I tried to protest. It was too late she had already got in the car. She looked out the window and stuck her tongue out teasingly.

"You'll want to put it on. It'll start getting cold when the sun starts going down." Raiden said as he got on his bike and started the engine.

"Do I get a helmet this time?" I asked.

He chuckled and shook his head, "You didn't see it fly off when we were being chased yesterday?" I shook my head in response, I most certainly did not. "Sorry to disappoint but neither of us gets one. Now get on."

I sighed in disappointment but got on nonetheless.

When Raiden and Draven were getting tired of driving it was going on midnight. We stopped at the next motel we drove across for the night. This time Finn booked a room with two beds instead of one.
