In the morning Sthandiwe woke up with a smile plastered on her lips having experienced a wonderful sleep of one best she's ever had. She got out of bed and walked over to the sliding door opening the curtains to a breathtaking view. The place was more beautiful than she had thought it to be. She stood there admiring the view she didn't get to see properly when she arrived yesterday. Turning around she was startled by the presence of Kabelo who seemed to have been standing there for a while.
"Good morning Sthandiwe,"he greeted her as she breathed fast.
"Kabelo you startled me, morning," she said." How long were you standing behind me," he then walked closer to her. "Not long I just came here to see if you were awake yet, or you'd be a sleeping beauty," he said. He stood so close to her that they shared the same air as their faces were inches away from touching. His gaze made her heart beat faster.
Slowly, she pivoted and her breathing slowing down. He was smiling widely, his eyes lighter and gleaming with such…adoration that her resolve shattered in a million, pitiful pieces. It was…life-altering.
"I'm awake now,"she replied blushing.
“Good,” he muttered. “You should freshen up breakfast will be ready soon.” Silently, she nodded before leaving to patter off into the bathroom and collect herself. In the mirror she looked at her reflection unable to stop blushing as a rush of emotions coarsed through her body and into her heart that felt like it was about to explode. She held on to the sink feeling like she wasn't able to breathe, running out of breath to the point of fainting. The feeling was both scary and exhilarating making her feel more alive than ever and it was all thanks to Kabelo.
"What smells so good?" Sthandiwe asked arriving in the kitchen. "A full English breakfast," Kabelo replied. "Eat up we've got a long day ahead of us," he gave her a plate which consisted of consists of bacon, fried egg, sausages, mushrooms, toast, grilled tomatoes, and accompanied with a cup of coffee.
"I think simple cornflakes would have sufficed," she said with a smile.
"Not in this house ma'am," he said putting the cup of coffee beside the plate." Now eat up,"
"Yes sir," She did as she was told and had to admit it was delicious."Wow this is good, how did you learn to cook like this, it's delicious,"she said finishing up the food. "You know, people we meet," Kabelo said walking to her side. "I wonder, if my cooking is this good to you, what else of mine will you enjoy," his voice soft and seductive sending chills down her spine. She momentarily lost her train of thought as she felt extremely warm by have him so close her. She then took in slow breaths trying to compose herself then she looked him in the eyes. They looked at each other works of electricity erupting all over their bodies. Soon he leaned into her face and their lips embraced each other for a kiss. It was sweet and slow paced as if trying to make the moment last longer and it seemed as if time had stopped just for them. His hand reached for her waist and Sthandiwe jolted a little when his fingers came in contact with the part of her skin that wasn't covered by her t-shirt. With that one touch everything else ceased to exist but the passion that awoke within them as they kissed and caressed each other like long time lovers lost in each others touch. He pushed the plate back, picked her up and put her on top of the table. They kept on kissing, touching each other. The phone carried on ringing Sthandiwe didn’t care she just ignored it but Kabelo couldn’t, as he pulled away from her.
He walked over to her phone and passed it to her. She took it and looked at the screen and wasn’t too happy about the person that was calling her.
" Dineo what do you want,"she answered annoyance evident in her tone as she watched Kabelo disappeared out of the kitchen."Hello to you too my sister how are you doing this fine morning," Dineo's tone was mocking.
"I'm fine woman what do you want,"she asked
