"i want to get you something," i said as ashton and i followed behind minho and elisia. we were now at walmart, just walking around.

ashton looked over at me, a faint smile growing onto her lips as she shook her head. "you don't have to."

"i want to," i said and she pouted a bit. i stopped and pulled her closer to me, cupping her face gently. "don't be stubborn. just let me spoil you a bit."

she continued to pout and i leaned closer, pressing a soft kiss onto her nose. her cheeks turned pink and i couldn't help but smile.

"you're so cute, princess." her cheeks darkened and i laughed as she shoved me away lightly.

"hey lovebirds, we're going to the bathroom," elisia said, making us look over at her. minho was standing next to her, his arm wrapped around her.

ashton nodded. "we'll be around this area," she said. "i'll text you if we go somewhere else."

"all right," elisia said as she put her phone into her hoodie pocket. "we'll be back." they walked away and ashton grabbed my hands, leading me into an aisle. ashton started looking at the board games and i wandered down the aisle.

i spotted a cute stuffed elephant in the next aisle and picked it up. then i found a rubber horse mask lying around. i quickly picked it up and put it on. then i walked back to ashton.

she was looking intently at one of the games as i snuck behind her. i placed my hands on her waist and she jumped. she turned around, her eyes widening as she looked at me.

"what the fuck, ji? you nearly gave me a heart attack." she punched my arm lightly. "and take that damn thing off."

i laughed loudly as i took the mask off, tossing it onto a nearby shelf. she glared at me and i rolled my eyes lightly. i stepped closer to her, wrapping my arms around her and bringing her closer.

"i'm sorry, baby," i said and she made a little hmph sound. i pulled away and showed her the stuffed elephant. "i found this for you."

my heart warmed as a big smile grew onto ashton's lips. she took the elephant from my hands and hugged it close to her.

"it's really cute and i love elephants," she said. "but i don't want you to get anything for me."

"ah, shut up. i'm getting it for you and you can't stop me," i said and she pouted. i laughed and leaned in, pressing a soft kiss onto her lips.

minho and elisia came into the aisle. "you guys are cute but you make me wanna barf," minho said and elisia shot him a look.

"don't act like you weren't all over me at olive garden, mr. lee," elisia said and minho's cheeks flushed. elisia looked at us, a soft smile on her lips. "y'all wanna go see a movie or something? it's only like 8."

"sure," ashton said, shrugging her shoulders. "let's go."
