"i swear to god, chan, i will smack you if you..." felix cut himself off as chan glanced at his card then back at felix. he placed a draw four wild card down and looked straight at felix.

"uno," he said before bursting into a fit of giggles and felix threw his cards down, groaning in aggravation.

"this is the tenth time!" felix whined. "i just wanna win once! that's all i ask!" he crossed his arms and pouted.

"minho's the one who goes out first! why are you getting pissed at me?" chan said and felix just stuck his tongue out at him. "you little shit–"

"if you're gonna fight, let me know beforehand so i can record it," elisia said and they both shot her a look. she laughed and they both rolled their eyes.

it was ashton's birthday and we were all sitting in the living room floor playing uno. it was me, ashton, elisia, and the boys. ashton's sister and fiancé were on their way and ashton's mom was out getting the food.

"okay," felix got a competitive look in his eyes as he picked the cards up and started shuffling them. "one more. i'm gonna destroy you guys."

"you know, you've said that the last five rounds and guess what? you still lost," minho said and felix shot him a glare before dealing the cards out.

a good ten minutes later, felix was on his last card. "don't get too cocky now, lix," minho teased and felix glared at him. minho smirked and placed a blue eight down.

"you just had to change the color, didn't you?" chan muttered, sucking in a breath. "sorry lix." he placed a blue draw two down, making felix let out a loud string of profanities.

"what the heck is going on in here?" ashton's sister came into the living room. minho jumped and she laughed.

"andy!" ashton said. she quickly got up and climbed onto the love seat to get to her sister. ashton threw her arms around andy. "i'm glad you could make it. where's kev?"

"he's helping mom with the food," andy said and ashton nodded. andy suddenly squished ashton's cheeks. "i can't believe my baby sister is 20 now. i'm so proud of you!"

"stop! you're gonna make me cry," ashton whined and andy smiled at her. she looked at us then at the mess of uno cards on the table.

"uno, huh? it's brutal when you play with ash and lis," andy said.

"oh no. if you think we're bad, you should play with chan. he's ruthless," ashton said and andy laughed.

"we should play after we eat," andy replied. ashton nodded. then we heard the back door open. "all right, dorks. let's go eat."

"it was good seeing you guys again," andy said as she walked towards the door. after we ate, we had spent the rest of the evening playing uno, along with other board games.

"it was good seeing you, too," i said and andy grinned at me. she placed her hand on my shoulder and her lips curved up into a gentle smile.

"take care of my sister, han," she said and i nodded. i looked at ashton as she gave her sister a hug. "text me, okay?"

"i will," ashton said. "be careful going home. give ellie kisses for me." andy nodded and smiled at her. then she and kevin said their goodbyes before heading out the door.

"damn, i'm tired," elisia yawned as she stretched. she glanced at her phone then stood from the kitchen table. "i should head home too. i've gotta work tomorrow."

"awh, well i'm glad you and minho could hang out with us," ashton said. elisia gave her a hug, squishing ashton's cheeks as she pulled away. ashton swatted her hands away. "hey!"

minho stood and walked over to ashton, "happy birthday, squish." he squeezed her cheeks together and ashton glared at him.

"you know, you two are so alike, it's kinda scary," i slapped minho's hands away and pulled ashton closer to me.

"just soulmate things," elisia replied and minho sent her a smirk. she rolled her eyes. "we'll probably see you guys tomorrow."

"okay," ashton said. "drive carefully. let me know when you get home."

elisia nodded her head. "okay."

"i mean it!" ashton let out a slight whine. "you always forget and make me worry."

"oops," elisia mumbled and ashton frowned. "chill! i'll text you when i get home, okay?"

"you better." with that said, she and minho left and ashton locked the door after them.

felix stood from the table, stretching before he made his way around the table. "i'm gonna head up. i'm exhausted," he said and chan smirked.

"tired from getting beat all those times?" chan said as he and felix started heading upstairs. "you know, if you wanted to win so bad, you could've cheated like mr simp in there."

"mr simp?" i furrowed my eyebrows. "and i did not cheat!"

"uh huh. sure," chan replied then started going up the stairs. "whatever helps you sleep at night. goodnight, you two."

"do you think i cheated?" i asked ashton, who made a face and tried to step back. i gasped and wrapped my arms around her tighter. "i can't believe you think i cheated!"

she laughed. "i'm sorry," she said. she moved her hands to cup my face and lightly pressed her lips onto mine. "forgive me?"

i smirked. "hmm, maybe." i leaned closer and captured her lips in a soft kiss, moving my lips slowly against hers. when i pulled away, her cheeks flushed. "happy birthday, princess."

"thank you," she said. her hands moved down to my chest and she looked up at me. "i'm really glad you're here with me, sung."

"yeah, of course. anything for my girl," i said and she blushed. i gently tucked her hair behind her ear and kissed her forehead.

"do you want to go to bed?" she asked and i nodded my head. to be honest, i wasn't tired. but laying down with her and being close to her was good enough for me.

she grabbed my hand and lead me upstairs to her room. i watched as she grabbed her pajamas. "i'll be back. i'm gonna wash my face and change."

i sent her a smirk. "you know you can just change in here," i said and she quickly shook her head. then she walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.

i laughed to myself and quickly changed into some comfortable clothes. then i sat down on the edge of the bed and scrolled through social media.

the door opened and i looked up from my phone. my mouth fell open as i looked at ashton.
