On the way back from the forest, we decide to meet up with the boys and hang with them. So we end up going back to Brook's house instead. I text Kathryn to ket her know the plan.

Me: Hey, I'm going to the boy's house. You down?
Kathryn: Guess I'll have to be, seeing as though I'm already there.
Me: You are?
Kathryn: Yeh, woke up about eightish and you weren't in so I decided I'd go see sonny.
Me: Fair enough. See you in a few then x
Kathryn: Bye x

We get to the boy's house and Brook realises he forgot his key, so he calls Andy. Just as soon as he calls him, he hangs up. He pulls me close and pecks my forehead. Uugh he's just so sweet. The door opens and a very tired looking Andy looks out.

Andy: "Hey guys. Come in."
Me: "You okay? You look shattered."
Andy: "Yeah, I'm good. I probably got about an hours sleep, tops. I got woken up because someone forgot their key." He throws a glare at Brooklyn.
Brooklyn: "Sorry, mate. I didn't realise. You should get back to bed."
Andy: "I would but if I'm honest, I don't think I'll be able to get back to sleep." We walk into the living room and sit on the sofa.
Brooklyn: "Again, sorry."
Andy: "Don't worry, let's just watch some movies. Any preferences?" At that moment, Rye, Jack, Kathryn and Sonny walk in.
Jack: "Thought we could hear talking. Preferences to what?"
Me: "We're just gonna have a movie day. Feel free to join us."
Rye: "We will. Stick whatever on." He sits on the end of the sofa and pulls Andy into him, softly kissing on the top of his head. Andy clicks on the first film that loads, which happens to be 'The Fault In Our Stars'.
Brooklyn: "Really? A sad movie?"
Kathryn: "Shut up, it's a good movie. I could do with a good cry anyway."
Brooklyn: "I don't understand why you'd want to cry. That's like people who want to be scared in a horror movie."
Kathryn: "It's not like that at all. Shut the fuck up, you wouldn't understand anyway."
Brooklyn: "This better be a fucking good movie." He mumbles to himself.

We all rearrange ourselves so we're in complete comfort. The sofa is in an 'L' shape and Brooklyn is sat right in the corner, whilst I'm sat in between his legs and leaning back on him. He subconsciously wraps his arms around me before kissing the crook of my neck. Rye and Andy are on one end of the sofa, cuddled up. Andy has his head on Rye's chest, looking like he's about to fall asleep. Kathryn is sat on Sonny's lap with her head on his shoulder. Jack walks back into the room with snacks for everyone.

Jack: "Looks like im 7th wheeling then."
Sonny: "Either get used to it or go be your lonely self in your room."
Me: "No, Sonny, shut the fuck up. Come sit here Jack."

Me being so attentive and observant, I notice the slight amount of tension between Jack and Sonny. Everyone else seems oblivious. Jack gives me a small smile and sits next to me. I stretch my legs out and look at him expectingly, to which he lays down and rests his head on my legs. He looks up at me and mouths a thank you. I smile and nod. Andy presses play and we all watch the movie.

The movies around an hour in when I hear soft sobs coming from behind me. I glance at Brook and his cheeks are soaked with tears.

Me: "Awe Brooky." I whisper to him, trying not laugh. Slowly, I raise my hand to his face and wipe the tears away. This is unsuccessful, however, as they get wetter quicker than I dry them.
Brooklyn: "Don't laugh at me." He snuggles into me, his tears soaking through my shirt. I take his hand and continue watching, even I, however, cannot stop the tears rolling down my face.

The movie comes to an end, and I look around to see Kathryn crying, Jack and Andy sleeping and Rye wipe his eyes quickly.

Me: "Something in your eye, Ryan?"
Rye: "Err, yes. Probably an eyelash."
Me: "Yeah. It must be even more uncomfortable to have a wet eyelash in your eye than a dry one."
Rye: "Yeah, wait no! I wasn't crying."
Me: "Keep telling yourself that, bud."
Rye: "I will, thank you." He mumbles. Andy starts to stir and sits up, rubbing his eyes.
Andy: "What's going on?"
Me: "Rye just being a little emotional."
Rye: "I wasn't! Okay, maybe a little. I just got a little too engrossed in the movie."
Brooklyn: "It was a good movie to be fair."
Kathryn: "Hey, what did I say?"
Brooklyn: "Okay okay, you win."
Kathyrn: "Yay! You owe me a tenner."
Brooklyn: "Oh fuck off. It wasn't a bet." Kathryn pulls a face. "Right, you can have the rest of my chocolate."
Kathryn: "Oh wow, the whole half a bar of dairy milk you have left?"
Brooklyn: "The chocolate or nothing, you ungrateful little-"
Kathryn: "Alright alright, no need for the insult." She swipes the chocolate out of Brook's hand and scoffs it in one.

Sometime later, I'm talking to Jack in the kitchen when Sonny comes in. He eyes Jack before pulling two lucozades out of the fridge and walks out.

Me: "What was that about?"
Jack: "What was what about?"
Me: "You know what I'm talking about, Jack."
Jack: "We just had a little disagreement that's all."
Me: "About?"
Jack: "Well, I kind of said-" He's cut off as Rye walks in.
Rye: "You alright, mate."
Jack: "Yeah, fine."
Rye: "SUre? I'm just making a tea, do you want one?"
Jack: "I'm alright thanks. I need to call my mum anyway. I said I'd ring her." He walks out.
Rye: "Okay, no problem. Do you want one, Y/N?"
Me: "Err, I'll have a coffee if that's okay."
Rye: "Sure it is."
Me: "Yeah, thank you." I leave to find Jack, but end up bumping into Brooklyn instead.
Brooklyn: "You alright, babe?"
Me: "Yeah, have you seen Jack?"
Brooklyn: "Might have just gone into his room?"
Me: "Thanks."

I dash off to Jack's room.
