Flashback

"P-patayuin mo na ako," sambit ni Lea.

"Who even told you that we're done?" sabi ni Rachel kasabay ng pagtatanggal niya sa blindfold ni Lea and then she gave Lea her signature smirk. Rachel leaned over the night stand and took her glass, "Close your eyes, don't dare open them or else ibabalik ko ang blindfold mo."

Lea closed her eyes taking a nervous breath in. Rachel got an ice cube out of the glass. She held the cold object between her lips and she ran it over Lea's chest. Lea whimpered as Rachel circled her peaks with the icicle.

Rachel ran the ice down Lea's stomach creating a little puddle of water before she took the object lower. Rachel ran it down Lea's center which Lea responded to with an almost instantaneous arch. Rachel held the ice cube IN between Lea's thighs until Lea was writhing on the bed. The sensations Rachel inflicted on her body had her panting for air.

"Pwede ka na dumilat," sambit ni Rachel kay Lea na namumula at pawis na pawis ang katawan. Rachel looks her straight in the eyes and added, "Now, we're done."

Present

Lea watched Rachel sleep. Magulo ang buhok nito at kalat ang make up pero mas lalo pa siyang gumanda sa paningin ni Lea. Sa loob ng dalawang taon nilang pagkakakilala, ni minsan ay hindi pa pinayagan ni Rachel na mahawakan siya ni Lea sa paraang ginawa nito kanina lamang. And now, Lea does not even know if she can resist touching Rachel ever again.

Lea noticed something on Rachel's shoulder, hinawi niya ng marahan ang buhok nito - she saw it was a tattoo. Mukhang watercolor painting ang rose tattoo na iyon ni Rachel, the petals were pinkish red in color. Unconsciously, Lea started tracing over the flower. Her mind began to drift to what had happened earlier. Kinailangan niyang pumunta sa funeraria upang ayusin ang burol ng kanyang lola. Masakit sa kanya ang lahat ng iyon at hindi niya alam kung paano niya kakayaning tumira sa bahay na iyon knowing na binili niya ang bahay dahil sa kanyang lola.

Flashback

"Nakakaaliw naman ng apartment na ito, iha. Napakaganda rito. Ang mga bintana, pinapasok ng liwanag. Ayos 'yon para sa mga halaman di ba?"

Napahagikgik naman si Lea sa sobrang excitement, "Yes, 'mita."

**('mita, short for mamita)

"Pupwede kong ilagay ang roses and lilies sa may bintana! Tapos pwede tayong magsabit ng mga halaman sa dingding. Ang ganda noon, ano?"

"Masaya po akong marinig na nagustuhan niyo itong lugar na ito."

Napatingin naman si Lea kung saan nanggaling ang boses. It was from a lady with straight, below shoulder length hair, wearing a corporate attire. Napansin naman kaagad ni Lea ang maliit na dimple nito sa baba which she found cute.

"Lea?"

"H-huh?"

"Pasensya ka na, iha. Nananaginip ata ng gising itong aking apo. Anak, tinatanong ni Miss Alice kung tayo raw ba ay nadako na sa mga kwarto."

"A-ah. Yun ba? Nako. Hindi pa. Pero if you want you can go ahead and show 'mita the rooms. I'll be with you in a moment," Lea told Alice.

Her lola and the real estate agent went off to see the bedrooms. Hindi naman na nagulat pa si Lea ng marinig ang excited na tinig ng kanyang lola. Pumunta si Lea sa salas at tama ang lola niya, magiging maganda nga apartment na ito kung may mga halaman sila at para mas lalo pa itong maging homely, she bought the little aqua love seat she was eyeing from the vintage shop around the corner of their street. May isang parte ng apartment kung saan ay bintanang salamin lamang ang mismong dingding at napakaganda ng view sa labas nito. Sa labas ng bintana ay matatanaw ang park at kitang-kita ang paglubog ng araw sa dapit-hapon.

"Napakaganda rito, Lea! Andaming espasyo para sa aking mga libro, anak."

Lea looked at her lola and smiled, "We'll take the place, Alice."

There was no way she was gonna deny the place after seeing how happy her lola was.

"I'm so happy to hear that. Congratulations, Ms. San Miguel. The place is yours."

"When can we move in?"

"Whenever your precious hearts desire, Ms. San Miguel."

"Alrighty then, we'll settle the paperworks, first. And we'll move in straight away if the paperworks go through smoothly. We'd still have to pack anyway. Thank you so much, Alice."

That same week Lea and her lola moved in the place. They bonded over packing, moving boxes, plant buying, arranging the apartment and cooking their favorite meals together.
