the weekend gave way to the new, boring, stressful, and restless week once again. haeyoung wasn't ready to go to school, just like how she always was.

however, she wasn't ready to go to school for a different reason; she was embarrassed to face neither wonjin nor eunsang.

it made her feel pathetic, since that dream she had changed her point of view towards eunsang and wonjin even though it was just a dream. nevertheless, it still felt so realistic.

haeyoung walked to school alone, not wanting to face eunsang nor wonjin just yet. once she arrived in school, she grabbed her things in the locker, went into her classroom, and rested her head on the table, closing her eyes.

"goodmorning, eunsang!"

"hi, eunsang!"

"how was your morning, eunsang?"

greetings and greetings meant for eunsang filled the classroom as he entered, just as haeyoung was about to fall asleep. she heard eunsang's voice, waking her up, but she still pretended to sleep to avoid any interactions.

"oh, h-" eunsang started, but realized she was 'asleep' so he cut himself off. he sat on his seat which was beside haeyoung, and started to play on his phone.

eunsang looked at haeyoung (who's head was facing the other way) and smiled softly. i know how hard life has been towards you, eunsang thought, hope you'll feel happier soon.

the bell rang and the rest of the students entered the classroom. their chatter 'woke' haeyoung up (even though she didn't even sleep), and she was surprised to see eunsang beside her.

"hi, haeyoung." eunsang said, waving.

"oh, uh, hi." she said, looking away to the window beside her.

"did you have a good sleep last night?" eunsang asked.

"um, yeah." haeyoung said, her heart beating fast. why do i feel so nervous? she asked herself.

"by the way, i didn't get a chance to ask you, but did you like the food we ordered in my aunt's bakery last friday? it was a new recipe my aunt made." eunsang said, "i liked it."

haeyoung turned her head to eunsang, eyes widened a bit. "w-what?"

"oh, i asked if you liked my aunt's new recipe last friday, since i liked it. like always, anyway." eunsang chuckled.

haeyoung sighed. kwon haeyoung! why did you think that he said he liked you?! you're being too paranoid! she mentally face-palmed. she really thought she heard eunsang say 'i like you' instead of 'i liked it'.

"uh, yeah, i liked it. it was good."

eunsang smiled, then the teacher entered and the lesson started.

"have you seen haeyoung?" eunsang asked, holding a sandwich and a water bottle while walking over to wonjin and dongpyo's table.

"i don't know, you two are the ones that are classmates." wonjin said, chewing a bite of his food.

"yeah, you are classmates, why don't you know?" dongpyo asked.

eunsang sat down on the seat across the two friends. "the teacher was talking to me, and she said she was heading to you guys."

"hm, weird. where could she be?" dongpyo asked.

"actually, she's been acting strange since this morning." wonjin said.
