"so... what happened to yohan?"hangyul and eunsang met up in eunsang's aunt's bakery after eunsang left haeyoung's house. eunsang was taken aback once he saw hangyul; he looked pretty beaten up.
"ah, after you guys left the police came and brought us to the station... he was only charged of attempted murder and i think he's going to jail..?" hangyul said (more like asked), "but i feel like he's not gonna stay in jail for long, since his family is rich, and they might just pay for the fine or something."
"oh.. well how about you, hyung?"
"me? oh, i'm fine... just a few bruises here and there..."
"ah, hyung," eunsang said, "didn't you say that you were temporarily living in yohan's house and that you have a 'job' of keeping him inside the house at night?"
"yeah, why?"
"well, what did yohan's parents say to you?"
hangyul sighed. "they kicked me out their house, even though i basically saved their son from killing someone." he rolled his eyes. "gosh, so unfair."
eunsang nodded. "well, where are you staying now?"
"i'm staying in a motel as i'm looking for an apartment to live in."
"oh, i see..." eunsang said. "where are your parents, anyway?"
"a-ah, well.." hangyul hesitated to answer. "let's just say they did something that takes us apart from each other..."

haeyoung woke up from her deep slumber, her hand lazily draped on her stomach, half a leg hanging from the edge of her bed, and found herself wearing clothes that weren't meant for sleep. she checked the time; 9:30 AM. then she remembered what happened at dawn. she sighed, shaking off her thoughts, until she remembered; eunsang.
she looked beside her, expecting to see the red-haired boy dreaming, but she didn't expect the other side of the bed empty. it was neatly organized (and clearly the opposite of the side she was in), as if she hadn't been sobbing on it for days on end.
then she noticed the piece of paper on the pillow. "goodmorning, hae :) i cleaned your house for you before i left, but you must feel sad from being alone all the time, so i left a little friend for you hehe. i wasn't able to give you my gift for christmas a couple days ago, so i'm giving it to you now. anyway, i hope you had a good rest last night :P lots of love, eunsangie <33"
haeyoung smiled at the note that eunsang left her. she then only remembered that christmas ended a few days ago. it felt like a normal day for her instead of a holiday. all her friends were out of town with their families for christmas, making her spend christmas by herself. she spent the day mostly in her room, watching movies and trying to make herself feel better, disappointed that christmas felt even less special than before.
she bought gifts only for her friends, and all was left was to give them out once they meet again. speaking of gifts, she stood up from her bed to get eunsang's gift for her. but when she stood up, she suddenly felt a sharp pain near her ankles. she looked down, and remembered why it was like that in the first place. however, her ankles were wrapped in a gauze, and remembered that eunsang treated her wounds last night (or rather, early morning).
she realized how nice of a person eunsang was to her. she was touched at how much he cared for her. eunsang's kindness made her realize that she shouldn't be so dependent on him, and that she should care for eunsang as much as he cares for her.
