"what did she say?" junghwan, one of eunsang's best friends, asked. they were talking privately in the park after eunsang met haeyoung a while ago.
"she said something like, 'it makes me wonder if you're acting fake to me, too.' dude, that kind of hit me, you know? like, i don't want her to be mad at me, but i don't know how i could tell her that i actually like her without making her feel uncomfortable."
"what? you like haeyoung, eunsang?! i knew it!" sihun said, clapping. "i ship, bro."
"really? since when did you like her?" seongjun asked.
"since when were you guys here?" junghwan asked.
"i have your instagram password, hyung." seongjun said. "i was obviously hacking, until you, eunsang, messaged him telling him to go here. sihun and i didn't wanna be left out, so we followed."
"i literally cannot with you guys." junghwan said.
eusnang sighed. "wow, thanks for eavesdropping." he said sarcastically.
"since when did you like her?!" seongjun asked, now louder and more emphasised.
"i don't know. since school started this year?" eunsang said, unsure. "i don't know, it kind of just, showed up."
"why didn't you tell us?" seongjun said.
"i told junghwan hyung. just not you two."
"you're mean." sihun said.
"look who's talking." junghwan said, making the four laugh.
the four continued laughing and having fun together, and eunsang finally felt good that he released his feelings that he's been hiding to his friends.

"oh look, yiren." sua said. "it's eunsang."
"huh? where?" she looked around. it's only been a couple hours since they met in the cafè, and yiren wasn't expecting to see him two times in the same day. "aw, how cute. he's with his friends."
"c'mon, say hi to him." sua said.
"okay." yiren said. she walked up to the four. "hey, guys!"
eunsang slightly smiled and waved. junghwan leaned in to eunsang's ear. "speaking of the devil..." he whispered, making eunsang chuckle.
"i didn't expect to see you again today." yiren said, chuckling.
"yeah, me, too." eunsang said.
sua followed yiren. "hello!"
"hey." the four said in unison, all sharing an awkward vibe.
"well, we're gonna go now. bye." sua said, dragging yiren with her.
"bye!" yiren said, waving. the four boys looked at her, until she was out of sight.
"okay, that was awkward." sehun said.
"agreed." said junghwan, nodding.
they all stayed silent, before someone's phone got a notification. it was eunsang's, and as soon as he saw it, he smiled.
"ooh." seongjun, who was sitting beside eunsang on the right, said. "it's haeyoung~"
