haeyoung felt her heart sink to her stomach. "w-what? you're mo-moving?" she said in a stutter, flustered of eunsang's words."yes. i'm really sorry. i didn't want to move either."
"it's fine. everyone has their own reasons." haeyoung sadly said. "but what's your reason?"
"well, my mother... she's really gone crazy. she's been showing up for a while now, asking for money." eunsang said. "my aunt couldn't take it anymore, so they wanted to take me with them as they move to another place."
"but what about the bakery? who's gonna run that now?" haeyoung asked.
"wait, did she ever mention about the bakery closing during your part-time job?"
"not that i've heard."
"oh.. well, there's another reason why we're moving, it's because my aunt found a better place in seoul for their bakery. it could really help with their business, so she decided that they wanted to move there."
"oh.. i understand. i'll have to find a new part-time job, now." haeyoung said. she sighed. "i'm really gonna miss you."
"me, too. but don't worry, there's still one and a half months for us to spend together! let's maximize it and do everything we can while we're together."
haeyoung looked down. "gosh, just thinking of not seeing you for a long time makes me sad already." she felt tears prickling her eyes, and successfully held it back for a while. "ahh, i'm about to cry.."
eunsang smiled. "go on, just cry. crying can help." he said. "cry now, and promise to me that you'll never shed a single tear once i actually move, okay?"
haeyoung shut her eyes closed, not wanting to cry. "no, i will not cry." she said, sniffling. "i should be happy for you! you're finally moving to your dream city in korea."
"thank you." eunsang said. "but really, crying can help."
haeyoung fanned herself, trying to hold back her tears. "ahh, don't cry, hae, don't cry.."
but finally, she gave up. she covered her face and faced away from eunsang, letting her tears flow. eunsang moved towards her, and gave her a hug. haeyoung hugged him back, wrapping her arms around his waist. "i'm gonna miss you so much, eunsang."
"i'm gonna miss you, too, hae." he said.
after a few seconds of silence, haeyoung wiped her tears. she took a deep breath, looking at eunsang with her teary eyes while pouting.
"all right. i'm done. now, you just have to get ready for dongpyo's tears, he's gonna cry a lot for sure." she said, chuckling. "in middle school, when i told him i was moving, he actually cried so hard i had to buy him ice cream to cheer him up. get ready to spend money, eunsang."
eunsang chuckled. "yeah, i'm ready."
the two walked back to the other two boys, who were bickering yet again.
"gosh, you're arguing again?" eunsang asked.
"wonjin hyung pushed me then i dropped my popsicle!" dongpyo said, pointing at his melted popsicle on the ground.
"yeah, well, that's what you get for dropping my sandwich in the sink a couple months ago!"
"wonjin, you're still not over that?" haeyoung asked.
