"ooh, someone's jealous~" sihun teased, smirking playfully at eunsang.

the boy sighed. "how many times have i told you, i am not jealous! gosh..." he said, scratching the back of his head in frustration. "wow... how i wish junghwan hyung was here to save me from you two."

"too bad it's only the three of us." seongjun said, teasingly. eunsang rolled his eyes, ignored the other two's teases and jokes, and continued eating his food.

"spesking of jealous..." sihun said, looking across their table. "look, it's your girlfriend."

"ugh, you still believe in that rumor?" eunsang said, annoyance visible in the tone of his voice. "when will you ever have a mind that actually works..."

the three watched haeyoung with a lunch tray in her hand, struggling to find her friends as she looked for them all over the cafeteria. suddenly, another voice called out for haeyoung.

"haeyoung-ah!" wonjin said, waving, and dongpyo doing the same thing. eunsang watched as haeyoung's expression turned from confused to joyful, now that she found her friends on the table on the farthest corner of the cafeteria.

"eunsang, my friend, i feel very bad for you." seongjun said, patting eunsang on the shoulder.

eunsang shook his head, clearly done with his friend's nonsense, and lightly banged his hand on the table. "i can't believe how annoying you guys are." he said, grabbing his tray and heading out the cafeteria.

"h-hey! eun... eunsang! it was a joke! come back..." seongjun said, eunsang ignoring them. "did we go too far?"

"nope," sihun replied. "that's a natural reaction, you know? denial, frustration, and sensitivity."

"yep, you're right." seongjun said. "i guess that happens when you like someone."

"hey, haeyoung," wonjin said.

"what?"

"if you could get any answer from three questions, what would you ask?" wonjin asked.

"hmm, let me think," haeyoung said. she took a deep breath and started to speak. "all right, first of all, who the hell is my real brother? second of all, why is my life like this? lastly, why is all this bullshit happening to me?!"

"stop swearing, hae." wonjin said. "dongpyo's listeni-"

"dongpyo's older than me." haeyoung said, cutting wonjin's sentence short.

"oh? you are?" wonjin asked.

"dude, we celebrated his birthday before mine." haeyoung said.

"right," dongpyo replied, looking at his phone as always. suddenly, he screamed. "oh? oh, my god! what?!" he dropped his phone on the table, covering his mouth in surprise.

"what? what?" wonjin, who was beside him, asked. he looked at the screen as if it was a monster about to attack him. the had almost the exact same reaction.

"what the fuck?!" wonjin and dongpyo looked at haeyoung with wide eyes and a heaving chest.

since haeyoung was sitting across the two boys, she couldn't see what was on dongpyo's phone, that was making the two boys so shocked, so clearly.

"what is it?" she asked with furrowed eyebrows, confused to why the two were acting like that,

when she was about to grab dongpyo's phone on the table, dongpyo snatched it back. however, before he snatched it, haeyoung saw a photo of two people hugging in a park... in the exact same park wonjin and haeyoung were in yesterday.

"wow, you guys even tried to hide it from me! i can't believe you guys, you shouldn't have done that, i was going to know anyway." haeyoung chuckled sarcastically. "don't tell me someone actually-"

suddenly, two students sat beside haeyoung; seongjun and sihun. "wow, kwon haeyoung! you were just dating eunsang a couple weeks ago and now you're dating wonjin?! i can't believ-"

"i'm not dating any of them!" she shouted, loud enough almost everyone around them were able to hear her. "goodness, all of you are so fucking gullible to believe in these rumors without seeing the real picture."

she stood up from the seat and headed out the cafeteria, but before she exited the doors of the place, she looked around, and eunsang was nowhere to be found.

"hey! eunsang! i was looking everywhere for you! why are you here?" haeyoung asked. she found eunsang on the rooftop.

eunsang slightly smiled at haeyoung. "i go here everytime i'm stressed or just need some free time by myself. why were you looking for me?"

"because you're the only one i can rant to about this." haeyoung said, walking beside eunsang. the boy looked at her, willing to listen.. "if i rant to dongpyo he wouldn't be able to give me advice since he's way too innocent, and if i talk to wonjin... that's another story..."

eunsang sighed and faced back at the view in front of them. "is it about you and wonjin's dating rumor?"

"you already knew?! it spread that fast?!" haeyoung said, laying her head on the handle bars. "wow, i know i'm used to rumors about me but for some reason i feel different now."

"of course you feel different." eunsang said, "i mean, people think that you and your best friend are a couple, why wouldn't you feel different from... let's say, your smoking rumors a year ago?"

"i guess you're right." haeyoung said. "but... what do you think about this rumor?"

"hmm, your feelings are like my feelings, too." eunsang said, "but i think people should start minding their own businesses and stop bothering you."

"i know, right?! i mean, what do they want from me? gosh, my life sucks." she said, looking down.

"hey, it's fine." eunsang said, "there will always be people wanting to drag you down. all you have to do is mind your own business, and they'll get a taste of their own medicine, too."

the rest of the lunch, haeyoung was ranting about the rumor and eunsang was consulting her the whole time. after lunchtime was over and classes were resuming, haeyoung realized something...

wait, why did eunsang seem so down the whole lunch? did something happen to him? is he okay? haeyoung thought, fearing that something not-so-pleasant happened to eunsang. but then again... he could just be- ehh, i'm sure that's not the case...
