Escape Attempt

Adam's POV
It's been about a year since they came to this place. A year since a man in the suit brought them here. They had experiments conducted on us. These experiments made us hybrids. I have sunglasses that I never take off, brown hair and a purple amulet. The experiment gave me brown wolf ears and tail. Surprisingly our regular human ears disappeared. Jess has long raven hair and Amber eyes. She was also given wolf ears and a tail, the only difference is that her's are purple and black. Shelby has long red hair and also amber eyes. She was given white cat ears and tail. Cory has dirty blonde hair and wears a mask that looks like a camera. He was given black cat ears and tail. Ross wears glasses and has brown hair like me. He was given silver fox ears and tail. There's Autumn she has galaxy hair with Dark amber eyes she wears a necklace with 2 hearts on it and a purple bracelet. She is a hybrid of a cat, wolf and a Ender dragon. She was given, blue cat ears and a dark blue wolf tail with a light blue tip as well as large black dragon wings. Last but not least is Max. Max has red hair and a golden Z necklace. He was given red fox ears and tail. For most of the time they have us inside of this room with places to jump up and perch on and some balls to play with along with a lot of pillows. "Do you guys ever just get tired of this place?" Asks Cory twitching his tail. "Well yeah I guess I do especially since there are absolutely no windows in this place!" Exclaims Jess. "Why do you ask Cory?" Asks Shelby as her ears perk up. "I don't know maybe we could escape while we are transferring to the testing rooms." Says Cory. "I would kill to be able to go outside again!" Says Max stretching. "We do have superhuman abilities." Says Ross. "So we could run right past all the people and make a break for it!" I say wagging my tail. "I'm down with that." Says Jess. "If it means getting out of here I'll do it." Replies Cory. "At this point other places are probably better then here. What about you Ross?" Asks Autumn. Ross simply nods yes and gives us a thumbs up. "Okay so today is when we make our break for freedom!" Shouts Max. Jess jumps up and covers Max's mouth "Be quieter or they'll hear us!" She growls. "My bad." Replies Max. I have my ear pressed against the door and hear footsteps approaching "They're coming!" I say. "Okay when I say 'Jello' start sprinting at full speed for an exit, got it?" Says Jess. "Got it." The rest of us say in unison right before they open up the door. "Follow." Commands a man motioning us to do so. "JELLO!" Screams Jess. We all make a sprint making a left then a right until we see a window. "Through the window!" Says Cory opening it up and jumping through. We are apparently on the second floor so me and Jess have to be caught by the others when we jump down.  Quickly sprinting at about a 20 mile per hour pace we take off down a street. Before I know it everything starts to look familiar. "Follow me!" I say running over to a large house. I knock on the door and a boy with a purple and white jacket opens the door. "Adam?!?" He says dumbfounded. "We're back Jinbop!" Autumn says smiling."What happened to all of you?" Asks Jin staring at our tails, wings and ears. "May we come in first before those people get us?" I ask. "Oh yeah of course you can come in!" Says Jin stepping aside. "Thank you!" Says Shelby. Jess and Autumn hug Jin "So what's up with the animal stuff?" Asks Jin when they let go. "The government took us a year ago and did this and ran us through a lot of strenuous test." Autumn says. "Like a lot." Adds on Max. "They're not cool people." Pouts Shelby. "Tell me about it!" Replies Cory. "I don't want to go back there..." Says Ross looking down. "So where are your 'parents' Jin?" I ask. "They aren't around a lot because of their jobs." Answers Jin. "Hey where are our parents?" Asks Shelby. "You guys were declared dead 3 months back so your parents went and moved to other places." Says Jin. "Oh." Says Shelby. "Is it just me or is it that I don't have a huge attachment to my parents?" Asks Cory. " I do or at least to my real parents." Says Jess. "Same and Thor." Autumn says.  "I don't think we do." I say. "I guess we lived without them for so long we just didn't have any attachments." Says Ross. "On the bright side we are out of that damned place!" Shouts Max. "Yeah we have freedom!" Exclaims Cory. "You guys are just all over the place." Says Jin. "Yes, yes we are." Answers Jess. "Oh shoot we have to find a way to cover our wings, tails and ears!" Says Shelby. "I can hide my ears by putting my hair in a bun." Says Jess. "I have spare beanies and hats you can have." Says Jin. "That would be awesome!" I say. Soon we get dressed in hoodies hats, beanies, and the girls put their hair in buns to cover their ears. "Everything sounds so weird through the this beanie." Says Cory. "I can hear perfectly fine." Says Shelby. "At least my hat isn't uncomfortably." Says Ross. "And these hoodies are nice. They don't annoy my tail." Says Jess. "You guys can stay the night there are plenty of spare rooms." Says Jin. "Thank you so much Jin!" I say. "No problem we are friends and family." Replies Jin .We go up stairs and pick out a bedroom and to fall asleep in the comfy beds.
