The test

Jess's POV
It's been a week now and there have been no signs of Jin. We're all worried for him. In the meantime to try not to think about the bad things we look at the room. It's built like some cat condo complex. Boxes that have pillows and holes your crawl through to get into them are mounted on the wall along with some platforms to let you jump up there. "I feel like they only thought about the cats when they made this room." Says Max. "Well at least foxes can get around easier then wolfs, were built for strength and speed not elegant and graceful jumps." Says Adam. "It might be harder but I can get anywhere Shelby can." I say. "Yeah and you two get the very top box all to yourself a because the rest of us are to big to squeeze through the hole or someone just won't sleep!" Say Max. "Well looking at the size of the girls and the six of Cory I think he could possibly fit." Says Ross using his thumb to compare Cory's and Shelby's size to each other. "That's probably why they made Cory a cat." Says Max. "What's that suppose to mean!" Exclaims Cory. "It means you're more fabulous then Max." Comments Shelby flipping her hair and leaning on Cory's shoulder. "You just got burned Max!" Shouts Adam. "Shelby is the dominant red head!" I say as Ross just chuckles in the corner. The door slams open right on Adam's tail. "Oh god that's some fast acting karma!" Shouts Adam. The men in suits toss in an unconscious Jin into the room and slam the door back shut. "Jin,bro wake up!" I say shaking him. "Loki." I whisper in his ear. He jumps up and looks around then calms back down. We all just stare at him in awe. "What's up with you guys?" Asks Jin. "Do you feel different in any way?" Asks Ross. "No why do you ask..." Says Jin before feeling his head. On top of it is are black wolf ears. He quickly looks behind to see a black wolf tail. "What how did I get these.... AND WHERE DID MY REGULAR HUMAN EARS GO!" Jin shouts. "Yeah we're still trying to figure that one out." Says Cory. "What did they do to you?" Asks Adam. "I don't know I was sleeping the whole time." Answers Jin. "How did you sleep for a week straight?" Asks Ross. "It's been a week?!?" Exclaims Jin. "Yup, we've been sitting in the room for a week." I say. Jin looks around at the room. "Wow it seems like they only thought about the people who would be part cat when making the room." Comments Jin. "That's what I said!" Says Max. "So what do we do now?" Asks Jin. "We wait until we can escape." Says Ross. "In the meantime we can steal stuff from the testing rooms and bring them in here!" Says Adam. "We can also choose to make one of the cubbies on the wall our room." Says Shelby. "Yeah there's 11 of them and 8 of us, so there plenty to go around." I say. "Then race to the room you want!" Shouts Adam immediately running up and jumping into the cubby lowest to the ground. "This ones mine." Says Adam. Max casually walks to the one that's fourth lowest to the ground, Ross gets the one second lowest, Jin gets the third lowest, Shelby gets the fifth lowest, and Cory get the third highest off the ground Autumn just stands there. "So we all comfy in our rooms!" I shout. "Yup it's great up here!" Says Cory leaning out the hole of his cubby nearly falling over. We all get out of the cubbies and walk down to the ground. "What will the other 4 rooms be?" Asks Ross. "Well the highest room is the girls only room since only we can get in there." I say. "But Cory probably could." Says Ross. "Then let's see for our selves." Says Adam looking at Cory."Oh fine." Says Cory jumping up the platforms. He reaches the highest cubby and barely squeezes through the hole. "You happy!" He shouts back down to us as he jumps down. "Alright then it'll be our special room." I say. "What about the other 3?" Asks Cory. "The one below it could be kinda like a living room." Suggests Jin. "Sounds good to me." Says Ross. "Okay now the other 2." I say. "Maybe we could just use them if we ever need to say something to someone without other people knowing." Says Max. "So a private room?" Asks Ross. "Exactly." Answers Max. "Sounds like a good idea!" Says Shelby. The door opens behind us and we see the men in suits. "Come with us." They say motioning us to follow. We all grumble in unison and follow without fighting.
Cory's POV
The men in suits take us down the hall ways and into a big training room then injects a glowing green liquid into Autumn. "First up we will test your strength!" Commands a man. Adam walks up to a weight marked 1000 pounds and is able to barely pick it up. "Next!" Says the man. Max walks up and picks up about 700 pounds then Jin comes lifting 675 pounds, Ross goes picking up 650 pounds. My turn comes and I lift 600 pounds, after me is Jess and she gets 500 pounds and finally Shelby goes lifting 450 pounds, Autumn lifts 415. "Now to test your speed at you fastest sprint." Orders the man. Max goes first reaching 50 miles per hour, Ross follows up with 45 miles per hour, I come next with 42 miles per hour, close to me Jin comes in with 40 miles per hour, leading up is Adam at 38 miles per hour, next Shelby going to 35 miles per hour, Autumn goes up to 51 miles per hour and lastly Jess with 52 miles per hour. "Time to test how high you are able to jump." Says the man. Jess is first to jump getting 10 feet, Shelby comes close at 9 feet 11 inches, I fall behind with 9 feet, Ross goes up to 8 feet 9 inches, Autumn gets 9 feet, Jin gives it a shot getting 9 feet 5 inches, Max goes and gets 9 feet, finally Adam's turn comes and he reaches 8 feet 11 inches. "Very good now for your endurance." Says the man motioning us to go over to another room with treadmills. "You will be running constantly at 20 miles per hour and you will run for as long as you can." Says the man. "And start." He commands starting the timer. Adam lasts for 25 minutes, Jess coming up with 19 minutes, Jin lasts 17 minutes, Max goes for 14 minutes, Ross and me tie with 12 minutes, and Shelby lasted 15 minutes finally Autumn lasted 18 minutes. "Now let's move on to height and weight measurements." Orders the man. He makes record of our height and weights before walking is down some more hallways. "Please don't electrocute me for asking but what are we doing now?" Asks Adam. "Yeah and what's up with all these rooms?" I ask. "We are going to conduct a psychological experiment." Answers the man. "How so?" Asks Shelby. "I will tell you when we reach our destination." Responds the man. Finally we make it to a room that's in the shape of a circle cut in half. There are 8 doorways that lead to bleak bedrooms. The doors lock behind us as we enter. "You will experience 24 hour solitude, we will give you food and water." Says the man."Wait what!" Says Jess. "The quicker you start the sooner it will be over." Replies the man. We all just groan and go into the rooms. The first couple hours are boring. Lucky for me I can deal with being alone for a certain amount of time. The only people who concern me the most are Adam and Jess. Both of them love talking to people. Ross will probably be the most unaffected since he tends to be on the quiet side. I pass the time by either sleeping or thinking of escape plans.
Shelby's POV
Nothing. There is absolutely nothing to do. All I can do is sit in here and find something to do. But what can I do?"Why do we have to do this?!?" I pout to myself. "I wonder if the others will be okay?" I ask myself. I just lay on the bed face down groaning into the pillow waiting to be released from this psychological experiment.
Adam's POV
"How am I suppose to survive without talking to other people?!?" I say. "I'm going to die of boredom before the 24 hours are up." I say to myself. I begin pacing around the small room I have trying to find some way to entertain myself. "I would have much rather have a taser used on me then to be in here, alone." I say to myself sitting down and anxiously thumping my tail on the ground. "They probably think I'm going insane already..." I mutter.
Jin's POV
It's been a couple hours now and I haven't been very affected by being alone since I am fascinated by my new wolf ears and tail. "These ears can hear really well!" I say to myself. "And my tail, it really hasn't had a purpose yet but it looks cool!" I continue. "I wonder how the others are doing with being alone, especially Adam." I ask myself. "Hopefully he'll be able to stay sane for the time being." I say.
Jess's POV
"This is sooooooooooooo boring!" I pout with my back against the wall and sliding down. "Why do they have to conduct this stupid psychological experiment anyways?" I ask myself holding my wolf tail. "I mean I didn't even ask to be tested on so why do I have to be here!" I continue pouting to myself. "I guess I'll just sleep or something..." I mutter flopping down on the bed.
Max's POV
I will admit to missing being able to talk to my friends, but it's nice to be able to enjoy some peace and quiet to. I don't have to listen to Adam shout or Adam shouting, you know that's the only thing I have a problem with Adam he's just always so loud almost all the time. "Man this bed is actually comfy." I say laying down on it. "I wonder how Ross is doing?" I ask myself. We've always been friends and even though Ross and Shelby are cousins, me and Ross have always hung out with each other more. We're like brothers at this point. Then I suddenly remembered Ross isn't going to be okay. I remember Ross and I are in rooms right next to each other. I bang on the wall in hopes he could possibly hear me.
Autumn's POV
I'm sooo Board I'm gonna scream at this guard "HEY GUY CAN I PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF RAO GET SOME PAPER AND IF I DONT THEN SO HELP RAO IM GOING SCREAM SHIP NAMES AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS!!!!!!!" I Scream. "DO IT!!" I hear Jess scream back. "SKYBOP!" I start. "Somebody get her some paper" I hear everyone shout.
Ross's POV
Autumn screaming has managed to keep me calm this far but she eventually got paper so I'm losing my Damm mind in here. "Okay Ross just calm down it's going to be okay, you'll be alright." I say to myself. "Just breath and don't freak out." I continue. "I can't take it. Please let me out!" I shout. Nobody but Max knows that I have a fear of being alone. It's something called mono-phobia. "Nononononononononononono!" I say pounding on the doors. "The room is sound proofed!" I shout. "How is anyone suppose to hear me then!" I say sitting in the corner curling into a ball. Suddenly I hear banging on the wall next to me. "Ross you there!" I hear Max say. "Oh thank god Max, I don't think I can take much more of this!" I say back to Max. "It's okay Ross you aren't alone!" Replies Max. I'm barely able to hear Max through the walls but very relieved to know he was there.
