Max's POV
I went upstairs, picked a room, and immediately fell asleep when I laid down on the bed. I get woken up by a crash down stairs. When I go to look it's the men in suits who had us in captivity. "God dammit..." I mutter to my self going into the room next to me. Inside I see Ross snoring and I think about leaving the adorable fox but I go to shake him awake. "Mmhhmmm... what's up Max?" Moans Ross. "Those crazy dudes are back so wake up the others and let's go." I say walking out. "Wait what!" Exclaims Ross. "Shut up they'll hear you and we have to leave now!" I whisper. Going into the next room I see Adam and shake him awake to."What do you want Max." Groans Adam. "Those guys are here and we need to leave now." I say. "Wait they're here now!" Whispers Adam. "Yes they are, I'm going to wake the others." I say walking out the door. Out of the corner of my eye I see the men in suits walk up the stairs. I dart back in the room. "What happened!?" Asked Adam. "They're coming up!" I exclaim. "Hey get off me!" Shouts Cory. "Let go of me!" Shouts Ross. "Come on I just want to SLEEP FLOATING!!!" Shouts Autumn. Adam and I run out into the hallway to see Ross, Autumn, Jin, Shelby, Cory, and Jess all handcuffed by the men in suits. "Let them go!" I shout. I can hear Adam growling next to me. "What's going on?" Says Jin. "They're going to take us back there!" Shouts Shelby. "Not on my watch!" Says Cory managing to get lose from the mans grip. Using his cat acrobatic skills he jumps up and kicks the guy in the head knocking him to the ground. Another man behind Cory grabs his tail and throws him to the ground. "Ouch!" Says Adam wincing at the scene. "Don't resist or much worse will happen to you." Says the man as he handcuffs us. "This sucks!" I say as they walk us outside and into the back of a vehicle. "I'm sorry about this Jin." Says Adam. "It's fine, not your fault you have insane people chasing you around." Replies Jin. "Yeah they should have just left us alone in the first place!" Exclaims Jess. "The jerks should be in jail!" Autumn shout. "We didn't ask to be experimented on." Adds on Shelby. "They're all just meanies!" Pouts Ross. "They're psychopathic government workers." I say. They close the doors to the back of the vehicle. "Hey why aren't you talking Cory, you're usually the one to join Max with the insults." Says Shelby. Cory waits until the engine has started before spitting something out of his mouth. Out comes a metal key clinking against the floor of the vehicle. "How did you get this key?!?" Asks Jin. "I would rather avoid the explanation, all you need to know is I got the key." Answers Cory. "It's going to be hard to unlock somebody's handcuffs if we are facing each others backs." Says Adam. "Oh I know!" Says Jess as she manages to get her hands from behind her to in front of her. "Jesus how are you that flexible?" I ask. "The few." Answers Jess as she grabs the key and unlocks Cory's handcuffs. "Thanks those were really annoying to have on!" Says Cory rubbing his wrist. "Unlock me now." Says Jess holding up her hands. Cory unlocks her handcuffs. "Ahh much better." Comments Jess. Cory unlocks Shelby's handcuffs next. "Thank you!" Shelby says as Cory unlocks Adams. "Alright!" Says Adam holding his hands balled into fists in front of his chest. Cory unlocks me next. "Even though I was only in them for like 5 minutes it feels great to be out of them!" I say stretching my arms out. Then Autumn "thanks." Next Jin was released. "Thanks man." Says Jin. Finally Ross's handcuffs were unlocked. "Thanks." Says Ross. "Now that we longer are wearing any handcuffs what do we do now?" Asks Jin. "We wait until the van opens then jump out running!" Says Adam standing up. Our ride hits a bump immediately making Adam fall on top of me. "ADAM!" I shout. "You wanna fight nerd!" Responds Adam standing up. "Oh I'll fight you!" I reply standing up looking Adam in the eyes. "No guys we shouldn't fight right now!" Says Shelby walking in between us. "Yeah and sit down before another person falls." Says Cory. I sit back down, calming myself down. "How is Jin suppose to keep up with is when we run?" Asks Jess. "What do you mean?" Asks Jin. "We can run up to 20 miles per hour." Answers Ross. "Woah!" Says Jin. "Yeah we're basically super humans now." Says Adam. "This might sound weird but can I pet your ears?" Asks Jin. "No." I say covering up my fox ears. "You can pet mine if you want." Says Jess. Jin reaches over and touches Jess's wolf ear. "Wow they're really soft!" Says Jin. "Thanks bro!" Says Jess wagging her tail. "So how is Jin going to keep up with us while we make a break for it?" Asks Ross. "Adam can carry Jin since he's the strongest." Says Cory. "Sounds good." Says Shelby right as the car stops and the engine dies down. The men in suits open up the and Cory immediately charges at them. Suddenly the crackle of electricity is herd and Cory quickly dodges. "And those are tasers!" Shouts Cory dodging them. "Quit fighting if you know what's good for you." Says one of the men leading us into what appears to be a parking garage. They lead us down several hallways and into a room. This room is similar to the one we were in before except everything's in a different place. "This looks an animal play pin." Says Jin. "That's basically what it is!" I say kicking a pillow across the room. "Man and you guys lived like this for a year?" Asks Jin. "Ye." Replies Ross. The door slams open and a man starts dragging Jin out. "Hey let go of him!" Shouts Adam growling. They ignore Adam and continue what they're doing. Adam runs up to him and bites him on the arm. One of his buddies pulls out a taser and shocked Adam. They simply walk out with Jin. "Adam are you okay?" Asks Shelby walking next to him. "God that hurts!" Whimpers Adam. "Yeah i imagine so." I say. "What now?" Asks Cory. "I guess we just have to wait." Says Jess. "Well let's sleep I feel like it's night time." Says Ross. "I agree." I say before laying down in some pillows to sleep for the night.
