Max's POV
I stare in awe. Ross froze everything else in the room. He turns around and looks at us. He collapses over and I catch him. "You okay bud?" I ask. "Tired..." He mumbles quietly. "We need to keep moving." Says Adam. "Okay, I can move." Says Ross slowly standing up. "That was amazing!" Says Jin. "How did you do that?" Asks Jess. "I don't know, but I feel more coming." Says Ross. "Alright, let's go." I say. We sprint out again making twists and turns in an attempt to find a way out. We can hear all the people after us. I read they're minds as we run along. They keep saying to eliminate us, take us out, and we're not needed if we put up this much resistance. Through common sense I have decided they're trying to kill us. We come up to a hallway with a cross section. There's a group a men at every turn. Ross quickly snaps into action and grabs my and Shelby's hands , jumping over the men. Ty quickly does the same thing except grabbing Adam and Jin's hands with Autumn flying behind them. Cory pulls out a gun and points it at the men making them move out of the way. Quickly Lyna barges through them with a barrier. Due to us jumping a different direction we get split up. "What do we do, it's only us 3 now!" Says Shelby. "We'll just have to keep moving until we can regroup." I say. "We need to run for now." Says Ross, taking off again. Finding out way to a pair of doors we run in the room. Guess what! A dead end. The doors close behind us. A strong scent hits me. "What's that smell!" Says Ross scrunching up his nose. "That's gasoline." I say. "What!" Says Shelby. We look over to see a frayed wire right next to the gasoline. "Are they trying to kill us!?!" Asks Shelby. "Yes they are!" I shout. "This can't be the end." Says Ross. A spark comes flying out the wire and make contact. I see the flames shoot up. In the corner I cover Shelby and Ross in hopes the flames would only harm me.
Jin's POV
All of us are together except for Shelby, Max, and Ross. They were separated from us. We run down the hallways and find out way into a room. We stop to take a breather. "I think we losings them." Says Barney. "Seems like it." Says Nick. I look up to see a window, on the other side are Max, Ross, and Shelby. "Guys look!" I say in excitement. "Why do they look scared?" Asks Cory. "Wait, is that gasoline?!?" Asks Adam. "It's a death room!" Shouts Ty. Right before our eyes the flame ignites. "No way, this is fake." Says Kaitlyn. "They'll pay for this." Says Roxy. "Wait look!" Exclaims Autumn. The chaos clears up and we see all three of them sitting there in shock. Max is on fire, but he seems perfectly fine. He stares at his hand then glances over at us. All three of them run up in excitement. Max pats himself off before smiling at us. Lyna finds a button that opens up a door allowing them in. "You got a little fire in your hair Max." Says Red. "Oh thanks." Says Max. "What happened?" Asks Cory. "I guess I'm fireproof now." Says Max with a grin.
