The Experiment

Shelby's POV
I jolt awake in a room made of steel. There are no windows, pillows, anything. Only a door with a slot to slide things through that is currently closed, plus an annoyingly bright fluorescent light.  I slowly stand up in the room and feel it start to spin. A wobble back to a wall and look at the door. Someone start banging on the door, immediately I turn invisible. The door opens and the man looks around the room, walking in, and closing the door behind him. I hold my breath as the man reaches in his pocket and pulls out a whistle. He blows into it, creating a brain piercing sound. I immediately cover up my ears and lose my concentration, becoming visible again. The man walks up to me, handcuffing my hands behind my back. "Come with me." He commands. I comply not resisting. Out in the hallway everything is barren except for the doors. Every door is labeled with differently. I read the following off mine.

Walking down the corridors I see another door

Ability: Floating
That must be Ross's room. The man quickly drags me along to a bigger room where I see everyone else but Jin and Cory. "Good to see 6 is here." Says a man."7 and 8 and 4 (2) should be on their way." Another man says. They have me stand in the line with the rest until Autumn, Jin and Cory arrive. While waiting I notice they have some sort of device on Max and Jess's heads, along with a blindfold over Ty's eyes. When Jin, Autumn and Cory finally arrive I see they also has weird devices on their heads."Why do they have devices on their heads?" Asks Adam. "Reasons." Answers the man. "Why do Autumn and Ty have blindfolds?" I ask."It's starting to cut off blood flow!" Says Ty trying to scratch it off. "Reasons." Repeats the man. "You okay Max?" Asks Ross. "It's hard to..." Mumbles Max. "Hard to what?" Asks Ross. "Think!" Exclaims Cory, attempting to rip off the device. "What are these things doing to them?" Asks Ty. "Interfere with the brain waves in their mind." Answers the man. "Wat..." Asks Adam. "It scrambles our umm thoughts." Explains Jin, also trying to rip off his device. "That makes more sense." Says Adam. "What are you going to do to us?" I ask. "You'll see." Answers the man. "What is up with you and being so vague?!?" Asks Adam. The man simple stands there, ignoring Adam. I see anger start to build up in Adam as he clenches his fist and charges at the man. "AHHH!" Shouts Adam. The man pulls out a taser and Adam immediately stops in his tracks. He slowly backs up against the wall with his tail swaying in an irritated manner. We see three other men enter the room with suitcases. "Are we going to test it?" Asks a man."That's what we have." Answers another man. "W-what are you talking about?!?" Asks Ross. "You'll see." Answers a man. One of the men injects Autumn with the glowing thing.
Cory's POV
I am lead to a room with all my friends. I hear them start talking about the device on my head. I am only able to hear part of the conversation due to my thoughts being a huge mess. No matter how hard I try I can't form a single thought with out it shattering into a million pieces. Then I hear some words. "You'll see." Says a man. Another man with a suitcase approaches us. "Follow." He commands. We comply and walk down the corridors to a room with chairs. They have us sit one by one. First is Adam, then Ty, next Jess, after her Max, Ross is next to Max, then Shelby, Jin's placed next to her, and me then finally Autumn. "They're placed in order of number?" Asks a man. "Yes." Responds another. Before we can react something straps us down to the chair so we can no longer get up. The men walk up to Adam, pulling a syringe filled with strange liquid in to. He growls at them. "He's the invincible one, how do we overcome his power?" Asks a man. "Knock him out." Answers the other. Without hesitation they knock him out and inject the chemical. "W-what's going on?!?" Asks Ty. They walk to Ty next, injecting the same chemical in him. Nothing seemed to happen. They take off his blindfold before injecting Jess next. Suddenly Ty starts jerking around, holding back screams of pain. "What did you do to him!" Exclaims Shelby. I try my best to focus on what's happening in front of me. Soon enough Jess starts acting up too. They ignore us and move on to Max. After they inject him they take off the device on his head. Max only growls angrily at them. They start to move onto Ross. "Leave Shelby and Ross alone!" Shouts Max. Of course they ignore him, continuing to inject Ross. Max slips out of one of the restraints, allowing him to lean over and bite the mans arm. "What the!" Shouts the man trying to shake Max off. They take him and Max draws back.Before I know it they've already gone through everyone else. Now it's my turn then Autumn's. They take the device off my head, allowing me to think clearly again. Quickly they inject me. Within a minute I feel a searing pain all over my body. What felt like forever probably only lasted for 20 seconds.After the pain stops I see Max rip free from his chair and immediately fall to the ground. He struggles but manages to stand up before standing in front of Ross and Shelby, blocking the men from walking to them. He's breathing hard as a man approaches him. I notice Adam start to wake up. "What's happening?!?" Asks Adam.
Jess's POV
I see Max growling at the men. His ears perked up and tail spiked out."You have been stripped of your powers." Says a man. "How did you find us!" Growls Max through gritted teeth. "It was easy, we just placed on number 2's mother along with a little hypnotism and we were able to collect all the information we needed." Explains the man. "Damn you!" Shouts Ty, struggling in his chair. I try to use my powers only to fail. Next I struggle against my restraints, I feel incredible weak. I see a man start walking towards Max with his hands up. Max growls at him. "I'm not going to hurt you." Says the man calmly. "I learnt the hard why not to trust you!" Snarls Max. "Just make this easier for all of us and let me do my job." Responds the man. "I'm not going to let you hurt them again." Says Max. "I guess I'll have to take you down by force." Sighs the man. He walks up to Max, Max swings at him, the man catches his punch before hitting the back of Max's neck, instantly making him fall over. "Max!" Shouts Ross. "Let him go!" Shouts Shelby. The man let's Max drop to the ground before walking up to Ross. I can see fear in his eyes as he tries to squirm out from his restraints. To my surprise the man instead releases Ross, letting him fly forward. Ross instantly grabs Max and turns to the man, growling with his ears flattened, ready to fight. Of course the man completely ignores Ross and releases the rest of us. We all huddle up and face the men. "What are we here!" Shouts Cory. "That is classified." Answers the man."Follow us." Commands the other man. We all follow them down the hallway. They bring us to a split in the hallway, going down 5 different ways. They lead 2 of us each down 4 of the hallways. Ty, Autumn and Adam down the first, me and an unconscious Max down the second, Ross and Shelby down the third, and finally Cory and Jin for the fourth. I hear Ross trying to struggle free as the men walk me down the corridor. We come up to a door.

The man shoves me in the room and quickly locks the door behind me. I sit in the corner of the room and stare at the blank, barren, plain wall in front of me.
