Nick's POV
I stood back and listened to Cory and Max argue about me I guess. More specifically how Cory felt about me. At this point I was so lost and Cory's cheeks had turned completely pink. Max seemed to find enjoyment in messing with Cory. "How are we ever going to get them to stop!" Whines Shelby. "I'm not sure but Cory looks kinda cute when he's flustered." I say. Both Cory and Max stop to look at me. "Uh... thank you." Says Cory. "Are you two done arguing so we can continue now?" Asks Jin. "Yeah, we are." Says Max. "Good, we can keep moving then." Says Jess. All of us continue to walk down a road. Max and Cory are still bickering with each other in the back while everyone else talks among themselves. "Do those two go at it often?" I ask. "Always have and probably always will." Sighs Shelby. "I'm surprised you've opened up to Cory." Says Red. "What do your mean by that?" Asks Shelby. "Nick likes to keep to himself, normally not revealing any information about himself and what he thinks, right Nick?" Says Red. "I do not have to answer that." I say. "See, what'd I say." Continues Red. Shelby giggles a little and I can feel myself blushing from embarrassment. Suddenly Cory pops up from behind us. "I heard you guys were messing with Nick up here." Says Cory. "It was just a little joke." Says Red. "About what?" Asks Cory. "Nothing!" I interrupt, putting a nervous smile on my face. "Okay, if they ever get under your skin you can talk to me." Says Cory, lightly punching my arm. "I-I'll consider it." I say.
Barney's POV
"We're almost there." Says Autumn. "Yalarr!" I shout. "What?" Asks Max. "It's a Barney thing." Says Red. "I still don't understand it to this day." Says Nick. "That's cause you don't gots the champions blood!" I say. "I have champions blood because I understand it!" Says Red. "Well we're here now." Says Autumn landing gently behind us. I look out to see many people going about their business. "So I guess we just get their attention?" Asks Jess. "Yup." Says Jin. "HEY EVERYONE OVER HERE!!!" Shouts Adam. "W-wait we're going to do it now?!?" Asks Red. "I guessing so." I say. "Now that I have your attention I need to explain that me and my friends are all hybrids because the government experimented on us." Explains Adam. The crowd stares at him. "Yeah like we'll believe that!" Shouts a man. "Here we can prove it." Says Adam. Everyone reveals their ears and tails and wings while Red and I show them our tails and the scales that are on our arms. "What?!?" "No way!" "I've heard rumors but it can't be true..." Everyone seems to start to panic a little.
"Hey calm down!" Says Cory. "We aren't dangerous!" Pleads Jess. "We didn't chose this!" Says Jin. "The government forced it on us!" Shouts Autumn. "They're freaks!" Screams a man. "They are lying!" Shouts a woman. "They could be working with the government to hurt us all!" Yells another person. "This isn't going well." Says Nick. "I-I'm sorry." Says Ross. "This isn't yours fault." I say. "It's not fair." Says Shelby. "Well at least they're against the government." Says Ty. "Why should we trust you?" Asks Someone. Autumn takes a step towards max picks him up and flys slightly above everyone the crowd takes a step back. "6 months ago a headline hit the news, 6 kids kidnaped, we are those six kids plus more. The government has been taking us and doing inhumane experiments on us, all we want is to be free!" Says Max. Autumn gently lands back down on the ground and puts him down. "I still don't buy it!" Shouts someone. "Let's take them out before they can hurt us!" Shouts another person. "Not this again!" Whines Adam. "I guessing we runs!" I say.
Adam's POV
All of us start running before Autumn and I stop."what are you 2 doing!" Shouts Jin. "Why am I running, they can't hurt me!" I say, turning to face the mob Autumn just nods and turns back. One of them hits me with a wooden plank. No effect. One of them hit Autumn with a iron bar... NO EFFECT on her the bar not so much. "Oh right!" Says Ty running up with me. A person tries to hurt him to only to fail. "What the!" Says someone. "We're indestructible!" Shouts Ty. "So now you have superpowers!" Shouts someone. "No they have hybrid powers I have the powers of superman thank you very much also I apologise if Alex can hear me." Autumn say with a smirk on my face. "Let's see if you're fireproof then." Says Someone, tossing a burning piece of wood at us. Max runs up and catches the burning side in his hand. "You people are insane!" Shouts Max. The crowd stares in awe watches the flame dance around on Max's hand. "You guys better get you heads on straight to see the real enemy," Says Max. "As far as I can tell you are!" Says a person. "We haven't even tried to hurt you!" Shouts Max. "So why are you attacking us!" Autumn and I shout. "You guys work for the government!" Shouts a woman. "How deaf are you people!" Shouts Cory. "How stupid do you think we are!" Counters a man. "Well at first I thought you were smart then you do this so now I'm questioning that..." Says Red. "Don't markings them angrier Reds!" Shouts Barney. "I've had enough of you freaks!" Shouts a man. He steps up and knocks the flaming wood out of Max's hand. "Rude much?" Asks Max. "I'm sick and tired of these stupid government people trying to get us to blindly follow you!" Shouts the man. "Oh no you've seen right through my plan." Says Max sarcastically. "These humans so stupid." I hear Autumn mutter. "Don't be rude to the mortals." I mutter back she just rolls her eyes. "What ever brine," she mutters "Quit playing games boy." Sneers the man. "I would if I was." Max sneers back Max. The man and Max lock eyes and glare daggers at each other. Max starts to let out a growl and the man stands up taller. He quickly brings his fist up and directly hits Max in the jaw slamming him to the ground. "Max!!!" Shouts Ross, rushing over to him. Ross shakes Max getting a groan out of him. Ross slowly stands up with his head looking down at the ground. I feel the air start to become chilled. Ice particles start to form around Ross. He quickly turns to face the man with a malicious smile on his face. "Looks like I finally get to play."
