"...And THAT is why I don't understand why the government allows that," finished Yasmeen as they drove along the highway.

"But that makes no sense! Why would anyone just have a random collection of anthrax without intending to do something?" Asked Liam, sitting in the passenger seat of the car. Everyone else in the back shouting questions as well.

"Well, I'm not sure. But yeah, technically, you cannot be arrested for possession of anthrax without a valid piece of evidence or it being anthrax formed in a lab. Though naturally found Anthrax is just as dangerous," Yasmeen trailed off, taking a sip from their cold brew coffee.

"Ridiculous. I should have stayed in England." Liam crossed his arms and huffed, looking out the window.

"Tell me about it," Luna replied, sitting between Abby and Maicee. Maicee rested her head on Luna's shoulder.

"Common sense of America, I suppose," Maicee murmured, taking a sip of her smoothie. She had recently found out that one of the reasons her stomach always hurt was due to the abuse of caffeine. With the help of Eddie, Abby, and Yasmeen, she was able to (reluctantly) switch to drinking green tea instead of coffee. Sure, green tea still had caffeine, but it was healthier and significantly less than Yasmeen's Columbian coffee mixed with a shot of Five Hour Energy.

"Eh. If it'll kill me, then I don't mind."

"ATLAS NO!" Maicee screeched, immediately sitting up and reaching back to smack him. Yasmeen jumped at her sudden outburst, holding the steering wheel with a death grip and barely staying within the lane.

"Jesus Christ we're all going to die," Eddie said, making no effort to brace himself from Yasmeen's small swerve or to help Atlas from Patton's physical love.

"Well, at least we die together, right?" Abby said, gently grabbing Maicee's hands and placing them on her lap.

"Not all together. I still can't believe she's finally ready," Yasmeen said, taking a turn into the airport entrance. They pushed their sunglasses up, the dark blue-black lenses reflecting the deadly rays of the sun.

"If anyone else is going to live with us, we're going to need a semi instead of a van," Eddie said. There was one empty seat left in the car, which was all they needed.

"Shit... I forgot about parking," Yasmeen murmured, looking around. All of the parking spots close to the airport were taken, leaving them to drive further out to collect their friend.

Once they parked, everyone clambered out of the car, excitedly chattering among each other. Yasmeen pushed their ponytail back, small fuzzies sticking out everywhere, as per usual.

"Okay, gays. We need to go quickly so we'll be there to greet her on time," They said, walking to the airport at the turn of their heel. Everyone else quickly followed, knowing that their friend wouldn't stop for any bitch.

"I'm not gay," Liam said. He ran a hand through his hair, his long legs making it easy to keep pace with Yasmeen's fast Gay Walk™. Everyone else was at a borderline jog.

"Yas, please slow down. I don't know how you're walking that fast considering you are one of the shortest out if all of us, but STOP," Patton said. Her messy bun bobbed up and down as she kept pace. Suddenly, Yasmeen stopped. Everyone screeched to a stop as well.

"What happened?" Luna asked, catching her breath. The Latina turned around, making eye contact with each and every one of them, expressionless. Suddenly, they started with a full-on sprint, running to the doors of the airport.

"YOU FUCKER!" Patton shouted, running behind them. Everyone scrambled to start moving again, not prepared for their quick start.

They walked inside the airport, looking for any sign of Yasmeen. They lost her a bit after she went through the doors, but they were able to find her looking at the airplane landing times, looking around to see which gate they had to wait at.

"Don't ever fucking do that again," Eddie said, breathing heavily with his hands on his knees.

"I hope I'll never have to again," She responded, not looking up from the times on the electric board. Yasmeen gently tapped one finger against the screen, smiling slightly.

"She's here."

Everyone smiled with excitement, running once again to the gate. People were filing out, hurriedly lugging their suitcase behind them as they were either on their phone or looking around them. They group of friends patiently waited, until-

"VICTORIA!" Abby exclaimed, seeing her friend walk out the gate with her multicolored suitcase in hand. She looked around, surprised that someone was calling her name, until her eyes landed on her friend, jogging towards her.

"ABBY!" She exclaimed, running as well. She quickly dropped her suitcase and jumped on top of the blonde, who quickly held her and twirled her around.

"Finally eighteen, huh?" Liam said, him and the gang following suit and enveloping her into a giant group hug.

"I'm finally here... With my family," She said, her voice wavering slightly. She brushed a few loose strands of her brown hair back, looking at her older counterparts.

"We are all finally together," Abby said, smiling wide. Both she and Maicee are crying, happy their younger friend was here.

When Yasmeen proposed the idea of buying a house and having everyone live together, Victoria was not against it. However, she was three years younger than them, meaning that by the time Yasmeen bought the house at nineteen, Victoria was halfway through high school, applying for scholarships in North Carolina. It had been a tedious process and a long wait, but it had been worth it in the end. Two weeks after her birthday, she sent her things over to Yasmeen for her to set up the last empty room of the house. And then, all she had to do was get on the plane and fly over, starting a whole new life in North Carolina.

"Our puzzle is complete," Yasmeen said, letting go of the group and grabbing Victoria's suitcase. She gave a small smile, and began to walk to baggage pick-up.

Everyone chattered excitedly, asking Victoria how her trip was and how she was doing. After a lifetime of being ignored and thrown away by others, she was finally with a group of people that accepted her for who she was. Her whole life, she was a single puzzle piece in a world of pairs, never quite fitting in anywhere. And for the first time, she was finally able to find her pair.

She was their missing piece.
