T.W: None...? Maybe not feeling listened to or self-identity crisis, I don't know...

~~~~~
He honestly didn't know why he came.
Sure, they were his friends, but other than that, he had no reason coming to America. He wasn't very impressed by what they did, or how they acted; everyone always looked either tired and depressed, perfect models that literally look flawless, or plastic lizards completely changed by Botox.
But when Yasmeen said she had been able to save up enough money to buy a house, Liam was intrigued. They were inviting all of their friends to come live with them, as long as they helped with the bills. And it was a very nice one, too. Liam's family was wealthy, sure, but for some reason, this house was more beautiful than any of the houses he had been into. He took it into consideration. Sure, it was nice and he was guaranteed a place to stay, but would he really be willing to move away from his family and home and start a whole new life in the U.S.A...?
Yes.
After applying to a few colleges in North Carolina, Liam was accepted into a very good college not too far from where Yasmeen's house was. He had 75% of his education there for free if he were to come. Considering he wanted to be a brain surgeon, having most of his education covered by the school was an amazing opportunity- too good to pass up. Nine years of extensive education was suddenly much cheaper.
And with that, Liam shipped his things over to North Carolina and started a new life. He supposed he could take advantage of the economic manipulation within the health industry while he was working here.
He was truly amazed at how beautiful the house was, especially after Yasmeen decorated it to everyone's liking. His room was even better. Though a bit small, it felt like his space. The room just seemed to match... Him. He wasn't quite sure, but it felt nice.
So now, he was here in America, with his friends. He always thought he would never be able to meet all of them, but here he was, sharing a house with the seven of them. It was nice. They didn't even need to make introductions. Everyone began talking as if they had known each other forever, which, compared to five years, seemed like a much greater amount. Liam didn't mind, though. It just saved the awkwardness for another time.
Of course, Emo, Rose, Abby, and Yasmeen had all decided to give the rest of them the proper "North Carolina Tour". They spent the whole week taking the squad to various parts of the state, from the mountains to the beach. They even went to Yasmeen's favorite pho place, which was quite alarming considering that the neighborhood looked a bit... Shady. But the food was good and nothing had been stolen or damaged, so that was nice.
Liam was actually quite fond of his new living situation.
And now, he was in his room, taking out his guitar from the stand. He wasn't too private about his musical side. Everyone knew he was quite the prodigy when it came to learning instruments and writing music. He even had a growing YouTube channel he uploaded to frequently. In the past two months, his followers grew from 20,000 to 50,000. He almost couldn't believe it. Either way, though, this wasn't about the popularity. He only wanted a way to play his music and share it with those who cared to listen.
The thing about him was that he played many different types of genres. From the smooth blues to peppy pop, Liam enjoyed all types of genres, making his channel quite easy for anyone to like. Not to mention his singing skills and certain tricks he was able to do on the guitar were very impressive. It was no surprise to anyone who knew him that his channel had been rapidly growing.
He began to tune his guitar, grabbing a pick and gently strumming the strings. It took a few strums before it was tuned properly, but now he was finally ready. Liam cleared his throat, clicking play on the camera already set up in his room.
