Once Shirou's 'training of hell' as he liked to refer to it was complete, he grabbed his jacket leaving a ruby necklace in his drawer but I didn't comment on it after all it wasn't my business to pry unless he needed help.
"Before we leave Shirou, I think it will be better for Saber to be in spirit form until we get there" I told him and he blinked.
"Spirit form?" Shirou asked and I sighed. Sometimes I wondered if the lessons I pounded into his brain went in one ear and out the next. Then again I had never really told him much about the grail wars because I didn't really know much myself since the church and magi liked to keep it hush hush.
"A servant can take on spirit form so that others can't see them but you can still sense and speak with them, just like Archer is now" Rin explained and Shirou nodded before looking at Saber who nodded and faded with blue sparkles into her spirit form. With that we set out Rin was walking ahead of Shirou and myself. I was told to wear a black cloak over myself since I refused to take my armour off and Shirou knew I would not take it off.

"Hey are you planning to walk all the way to the next city?" Shirou enquired as Rin jumped down a set of stairs nearly to the bottom when me and Shirou got to the top.
"Yes I am," Rin nodded.
"You know it's been dangerous out lately right? I can protect you if something happens, that is if you would stop racing ahead" Shirou sighed.
"Oh please, relax, you may be forgetting but you have Saber who is a ridiculously strong and powerful servant" Rin reminded but I could tell that Shirou didn't like the idea of just sending a girl in to fight for himself.
"Master of Archer" Saber called as she made herself visible again with a cloak but was brown unlike my blade cloak.
"Rin will be fine," Rin told her.
"Very well Rin, what was Shirou trying to say earlier? I could not comprehend what was said," Saber informed us.
"You could call it a major misunderstanding or a bit of foolishness, what he was saying was that if we were attacked along the way he would step in and save us like a hero," Rin explained.
"That's wrong because Shirou is my Master, I should be the one who is protecting him," Saber said shocked.
"He's probably not thinking that way at all as far as masters and servants are concerned, Shirou really doesn't get it" Rin smiled.
"You would be wise to take back those words" I told her, making them look at me, seeming to remember that I was here.
"Shirou knows perfectly well what a master and servant are in the holy grail war. What you can't seem to understand is that Shirou will not allow anyone to fight in front of him for his sake when he can fight himself" I informed them.
"But it is my place to fight for him and protect him" Saber said and I glanced at her, my blue eyes biting into her.
"That is not your decision to make," I told her as we continued to walk.

Slowly we approached the church that we had to get to.
"Why do you think Saber isn't coming in with us?" Shirou questioned.
"She said earlier that she had been summoned to this era before so maybe something happened between her and the fake priest were here to see?" Rin suggested.
"That being said I am going to be staying outside, if anything happens Shirou will call my name. I will hear it and come help so take care of yourself" I told him.
"You're not coming in? Aren't you the one that wanted more information?" Rin asked.
"Yes but Shirou will tell me all I wish to know later, I have no intention of going into a church to see a fake priest" I said as I jumped onto the church's roof.
"Tosaka what kind of person is this priest?" Shirou enquired, glad he had brought the hidden Excalibur on his back.
"At one time he was my fathers pupil, after Father died he became my guardian, I suppose that makes him both my senior disciple and second mentor" Rin explained.
"So he is also a mage then" Shirou stated.
"Yes, like I said a genuine fake priest" Rin agreed as they entered.

I stopped listening to  them instead focusing on my own magic so that I could go straight into this priest's mind. After all, why listen to the information if I could watch what happened instead. People can open their mouths and lie a lot easier then they can change memories around. While the priest's head was harder to access then Shirou's was two years ago and how a normal human was, his defences were nothing more than brushing through a spider web but there were parts I couldn't access. To start off with, I looked at the previous grail war and what had happened. What I discovered made my blood boil and I wanted nothing more than to kill his Kirei Kotomine. Not only did he betray his own teacher, who was Rin's father, he killed a woman named Irisviel Von Einzbern who was the holder for the holy grail at the time. He also set a man named Kariya Matou up for the murder of Rin's father to Rin's mother making Kariya lose the one person he truely loved and in turn he then nearly killed her but left her with sever brain damage. I couldn't really fault Kariya for that accident since the woman didn't even try to listen then went on degrading him and his love for her. Soon enough I had managed to sort through all of the grails memories and luckily there was a way to get the grail without having to sacrifice the next grail holder. I also found out that he was the one to attack Bazet but I couldn't see which servant she had or if he or someone else took that servant.
