Chapter 18: Introductions

"Angelica? Angelica, where are you?" I heard Shirou calling for me after they moved into the house.
"What is it, Shirou?" I asked, looking at him as he sat at the dining room table with Illya, Irisviel, Kiritsuga, Berserker and Saber.
"Dad, Irisviel this is Angelica, she is the one that taught me everything I know, she has been training me since I was fifteen and she is my sister in all by but blood and she is the reason you guys are alive now" said Shirou as he pulled me into a hug and I reached my arms up and around him hugging him close to me.
"I've told you Shirou, just call me Mother or Mum or even Mama after all any child that belongs to Kiritsugu belongs to me as well and it is nice to meet you Angelica, you can call me Mama as well if you want" smiled Irisviel.
"I'm fine thank you" I said and they blinked a little at my emotionless voice and face.
"You say that Angelica is the reason that we are alive," said Kiritsugu.
"She won the fifth holy grail war, she didn't let the heroic spirits die either. Instead of letting us kill each other she done a ritual that summons the cup and she wished for the people that died because of the grail wars to come back, also that the heroic spirits can stay bounded to the masters instead of the grail, that they were free to have kids and there won't be anymore grail wars ever again" smiled Shirou.
"You know you seem familiar," said Irisviel.
"I thought that at first as well but she doesn't have any relation to Gilgamesh" explained Saber. 

"Mistress I am back now" called Gilgamesh as he walked in.
"What is he doing here?" Kiritsuga asked.
"He is my servant. Is there a problem with that? If so then we can leave" I said with narrowed eyes.
"Hang on a second you don't have to leave, Gilgamesh isn't like you think, sure he can be a bit of a jerk and call people mongrels and fools but Angelica is much the same, she is only being so respectful because you are important to me" said Shirou as he played mediator.
"What he did in the fourth holy grail war" Irisviel started.
"That is in the past, you yourself killed people during the fourth grail war so you can't blame him for his actions since it was the way those wars worked" I said.
"Mistress, I got something for you by the way," said Gilgamesh, opening the gate of Babylon and I saw Irisviel and Kiritsugu tense up.
"When I saw it I knew that it should belong to you seeing as only the best belongs to my treasure" said Gilgamesh and I blinked seeing the beautiful dress he bought. It was a long white flowing dress with off the shoulder golden sleeves that I realised were actually made of gold, there were also long sleeves that were see through and slit up the sides so they were basically just bits of fabric.
"It's lovely" I commented as I gently took the dress.
"It's what dancers used to wear in my kingdom along with these," said Gilgamesh as he handed me two golden bangles with bells on them for the ankles.
"They are both lovely but I don't really dance and I wouldn't feel secure in this" I said as I gently placed it within my own gate of Babylon.
"Perhaps you will wear it one day when you are more comfortable with me Mistress" smirked Gilgamesh and I shrugged. 

"Okay so I get that Shirou got trained by Angelica so how did you guys meet?" Kiritsuga asked, taking the attention off me and Gilgamesh as he sat next to me. In truth I don't think they knew what to think about this side of Gilgamesh.
"I ran across her in the woods where she was camping out and then she suddenly just asked if I wanted to be trained by her and I agreed," explained Shirou.
"Why did you decide to teach Shirou?" Kiritsuga asked.
"Because he was broken but not fully, meaning that he was exactly like me but he had the chance to be fixed unlike myself so I just gave him the tools to fix himself" I said and they looked at me even Saber did.
"What do you-" Saber started but Shirou slapped a hand over her mouth.
"I just realised, where exactly are Rin and Archer?" Shirou asked with a smile.
"She went back to her house since her parents are alive again, I am feeling a little hungry so I am going to make some afternoon snacks. Does anyone else want something?" I asked as I headed to the kitchen.
"I would prefer if you don't ask anything  like that to Angelica, her past is only her problem, it hurts her whenever she thinks about it and I would rather she not be hurt anymore" whispered Shirou thinking that I couldn't hear but I could.
