Chapter 8: A sleepover

When I got back to Shirou's place after checking that Bazett was still alive and that Illya got back to her castle safely, it was already morning. It didn't really matter if I didn't sleep during the night since I had gotten used to it, plus I would be able to rest during the day.
"Good morning, I'm glad you're finally awake," Rin said  as I walked to Shirou's bedroom as he flung himself up and away from her.
"Well, well you seem to be healing nicely" Rin commented.
"Tosaka what's going on? What are you doing here? Wait why and I bandages up? And where is Angelica?" Shirou shot off.
"You should calm yourself, she is here because yesterday you were attacked by Berserker. You recklessly used mana to keep the explosions small but then got hurt because of it and I am right here" I said, answering all his questions.
"Okay so I passed out, did you carry me home Angelica?" Shirou asked.
"No, the woman did that, more than likely got Archer to carry you" I told him.
"Well now that I know you are fine, see ya" Rin said as she turned to leave.
"Tosaka, wait I should have said it earlier but thanks" Shirou smiled.
"Now wait, how could you possibly be thanking me?" Rin demanded. She acted like it was impossible for Shirou to want to thank her.
"Well you did get me home," Shirou said.
"You should never thank an enemy, what are you thinking? The grail war is a fight to the death you know" Rin said, hands on her hips.
"I know, so why didn't you just kill me when you had the chance?" Shirou questioned.
"I simply didn't feel like it that's all, attacking someone in his sleep just isn't fair" Rin huffed with a blush which made me click to what was going on. No matter what this woman said she liked Shirou, even if that like was buried deep within her it was still there.
"So I guess it was kind of a blunder on my part, maybe I let my guard down since I know I am more powerful than you. You could say I have some emotional flab" Rin said and I sighed seeing as she was looking down on him again.
"Shirou, it's time for your morning practice, invite that woman and the other one as well" I scowled, gritting my teeth as I left.
"Well looks like you're watching even if you don't want to because she will track you down" Shirou warned as he got up and unwinded the bandages and got his training clothes on. His clothes consisted of a tight black tank top and a pair of sweatpants. 

"Ah Saber there you are, Angelica wants you two to watch our morning practice for some reason so come to the back yard with us" Shirou called once Rin gave Saber different clothes to wear. "So how do you feel?" Saber asked.
"Everything seems to be as good as new" Shirou replied.
"I am glad, I must say I am rather impressed with you, I did not expect you to possess self healing magic" Saber smiled as they walked to the side lines as I was getting ready.
"Shirou there is something I must say to you regarding last night's fight, I must ask that you, my master, refrain from such actions" Saber said.
"And that is exactly why you are being told to watch this fight" I said once I finished setting up.
"You both seem to severely underestimate Shirou therefore Shirou, ready your weapon and don't use the married blades. You are free to use anything else but those" I told him as I opened the gate of Babylon and pulled out Durandel.
"You can't be serious!" Saber exclaimed but I paid her no mind as I shot forward slamming my blade into the sword that Shirou had projected.
"Do not interfere" I boomed as I opened up eight gates of Babylon around Saber and Rin, weapons ready to impale them. Shirou chose this time to jump back and projected a bow and arrow, shooting straight for me but I grabbed the arrow out of the air. My bow was already in my hands so I shot it back at him making him dodge before racing at me with his legs and arms enhanced. I countered by enhancing my own arms and legs, countering him blow for blow. Waiting for the right moment I grabbed Durandel for on my back and swung it grazing Shirou's shoulder making him yelp but he was fast to project his own sword, enhancing it with his own mana to make it stand up to mine. Soon enough I got bored and Shirou had worked all his muscles and strengths so I swiped his feet out and when he dodged I grabbed his hair and placed my sword to his throat making him give up so I would let him go.
