We get back to Jack's house and haul the speakers into the pitch black house even though it was 4 pm "I can't see shit" I groan lifting the speaker as some black lights flick on overhead "Hey guys!" Sammy says running over and helping lift the giant bass "Your girl came up with an awesome idea bruh" he says pushing the speaker against the wall and turning to me "Neon and black lights" it's hard to see, but nobody could mistake the grin on his face. "Johnson went to get neon paint and we're gonna throw it all over the tarps on the wall and your girls in the kitchen making neon Jell-O shots" he runs off upstairs so I wander into the kitchen.
"There you are" Kylie says smiling and pouring a thick Jell-O mixture into neon shot glasses. I walk over behind her and wrap my arms around her waist kissing her neck "We gotta talk real quick" her body stiffens on my arms "No, no it's nothing too bad umm" I unwrap my arms from around her and hop up on to the counter "Well" she places a hand on her hip going on defense "Spit it out Jack". I grab one of her hands and hold it in mine "I got a text from Sarah Beckman" Kylie groans throwing my hand to the side "Babe, don't reject me, let's talk about it" she tenses again "Shes not coming, she's not aloud inside or anywhere near you" she shoves a boney finger into my chest "Why can't you just trust me to be good?" I ask sliding her hand back into mine. She sighs pondering the thought "because any time she's near you she gropes you?" She replies sassily. I sigh defeated and wrap my arms around her "You're the only one I want anymore I promise" she leans back looking in my eyes "I love you Jack, I always will" I smile and place a kiss square on her lips "I love you more" she laughs "Yeah whatever" she says turning back to the counter and grabbing the shots to put them in the fridge.
I wander over to where I hear voices and see that Jack is back with the paint. I grab a brush and start flinging paint against the thick black canvas "Dude this is gonna be so sick" Sammy raves and I nod slowly. This party was going to be sick, in fact just being back home was all I needed to feel great and relaxed again. As long as no drama started tonight, everything would be just fine.
