I'm so happy I don't get tired because yesterday was the best birthday ever. After the night Emmett and I had, I went home. Emmett said I had to wait a few days to move in.

"I had an amazing birthday, Emmett," I said with a small smirk on my lips.

He smirked. "I know."

I chuckled and hugged him. He hugged back, tighter than normal. "I love you, Blake."

"I love you, too, Emmett," I said, not thinking anything of it.

He kissed me before going out of my window. I bit my lip as I got ready for school.

Bella drove to school today because I didn't really feel like it.

I didn't see Emmett, or any of the Cullens for that matter, at school.

Even during lunch and English, they weren't there. It was pretty boring having English by myself. The only person I talk to in that class is Emmett.

When we got home, I saw Edward in the yard. Bella walked up to him and I watched as they walked into the woods. I furrowed my eyebrows until I saw Emmett in my room out of the corner of my eye. It's a good thing Charlie isn't home.

I walked into the house, to my room. I slowly opened the door to see Emmett looking at a picture of us together.

"Hi," I said. "What are you doing here?"

He looked at me. "We have to leave Forks."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Why?"

"Carlisle is supposed to be ten years older than he looks," Emmett explained. "People are starting to notice."

I bit my lip. "What do you mean by we?"

"I mean my family and myself," he said. I could see the pain in his eyes.

I felt my heart break. I bit my lip. "S-So you're just going to leave me here? Emmett, I can barely control the hunger."

Emmett nodded, walking closer to me. "I know, Blake. But I have to. And you can't come. It would be too suspicious."

"What happened to forever?" I asked, my voice breaking. If I could cry, I would be right now. "We promised each other, remember?"

Emmett looked like he wanted to punch something. "I know. I'm sorry."

I closed my eyes. I felt Emmett's lips on my forehead, lingering before they were gone. When I opened my eyes, he was gone.

"Emmett!" I shouted. "Damn you!" I punched my wall, putting a hole in it, surprising myself.

I've never gotten angry like that. I sat on my bed, put my head in my hands.

He's actually gone.

That night, the cops came to our house. Bella was supposedly missing. I stood next to my dad, looking at the map.

"I'll try and call his place again," my dad said, grabbing his phone.

"The Cullens left town Charlie," Billy stated. I closed my eyes, not wanting I think about it.
