Freshly lit candle in my room,
thoughts of Light made me let out a sigh
because of the beauty of its shine.
I looked at the candle flame
dancing around my cold darken room,
touching every wall in its path.
The more I glanced around this old room,
tears row down from my eyes.
I remembered how I had lost my way
in just that moment of time.
I looked at Brutus
while he pours my tea.
I could see his face turn weary over me,
questioning if I was okay.
I whispered softly, "I am doing fine Brutus
why do you ask?"
Brutus goes on to say,
"I know how things get for you Moonlight
when you return back to the castle.
I won't keep on hassling you, I will let you be."
I stood by my window in my room,
just looking deep in the gray sky
that almost made me cry.
I watch the autumn leaves gracefully fall to the ground.
Outside my window the air is cold,
the scent of death is in the breeze.
But, in my room alone as I could ever be,
the candle gives a sweet calming scent.
The wind moans for years in tears
as if it was telling an ancient story.
But now it became music to my ears.
Ravens fly deep into the night
where summer is left behind,
and winter pushed its way back in
as darken dreams
are a place for the broken
that became a token.
Words of pain are always spoken.
Winter is always near
bringing on sadness and fear,
Dark Angel holds so dearly
shimmering thunder makes me wonder
what is going to happen tonight?
Change in moods are in the room,
the moon is hanging down very low in the gloom.

for all to see who is out looking for me.-Judy Emery © 1980 The Queen Of Darken Dreams Poetic Lilly Emery
