SHEMAR's POINT OF VIEW
Later that night;

"You're quiet..." Cheryl brought up from the passenger seat.

I continued looking ahead and at the road. We were just coming back from the store and it was around ten o'clock in this current moment.

We hadn't really had a conversation as much since she came home earlier. She told me that she went over Tony's to help out with the kids for their first day back to school. After she told me that, I just nodded my head and said okay. Yet, she still thinks that I'm upset about it but I'm not. When it comes to stuff like that, I'm numb. I can't give myself permission to care about her being around Tony.

Sometimes I ask myself is it that I don't trust her or him. Yet, I try my best to know that I can't ever trust Tony. Never.

"I can't be silent?" I asked her lowly in a calm voice.

"Nothing happened at Tony's..."

"Cheryl, I didn't say anything happened at Tony's house. You went to see and help out with your kids. I know that and I'm cool," I said to her.

"But why are you so quiet?" She asked as she looked over at me.

I clenched my jaws a bit and stayed silent.
"Can we talk about something else?" I questioned her as I stopped at a stoplight.

"There's nothing else to talk about, honestly."

"Now you're mad, huh?" I asked as I looked over at her. We both looked at each other and that was the moment when she rolled her eyes at me. "Don't roll your eyes. I already know you are." I added.

"I'm not upset. If anything I'm annoyed with you,"

"And what did I do, huh?" I asked her as I started driving again.

"Because you're being so difficult and I don't even wanna argue with you."

"We're not arguing. We're just having a simple conversation. Isn't that something that you want, right?"

She scuffed at my statement and looked out her window. "You're ridiculous sometimes..."

"Thanks," I ended with as I gripped the steering wheel and tried to take another deep breath. She was really making me frustrated and her sassy attitude wasn't helping this situation either.

Once we made it home, I lowered the hat on my head and placed my hood on my head as well.

There's always somebody looking and watching.

"Are you gonna open the door or do I need to do it?" Cheryl asked me.

I looked over at her and furrowed my eyebrows. "Just sit there and chill out with all that shit," I said as I opened my door and started to get out the car.

Once I was out fully, I close the door and started walking around towards her side of the car. I looked around just to make sure we weren't being watched because sometimes I find myself in the tabloids randomly. Thankfully, Cheryl wasn't dragged in them. Well, she was at one point after that video was released but who cares about that anymore?
