DEMI's POINT OF VIEW
Standing outside of my front door, I looked around with hopes that Caiya would come see me before my Dad and I left for good today. I was supposed to move in two days but my Dad got released from his old job earlier and so, they didn't need him to stay.
So, my Dad thought that today would be the best day to leave. After he told me that, I immediately texted Caiya and told her the news.
I know I hurt her the last time we saw each other but it needed to be done. I'm much better of a guy to speak up than to keep silent, move in secret and then tell her the news. That's not what I do.
This is what I had to do and even though it hurts the both of us, we have to learn how to get through it without each other. Sometimes that's what happens but I can't leave my Dad out of the picture. He needs me and I'm gonna be there for him.
Anxious to know if she would even show up, I looked down at the watch on my wrist and then back out towards the street.
Yep, I don't think she's coming.
Unexpectedly, the door behind me opened and it was my Dad talking to me in the process. "You almost ready to go?" He asked as he placed his hand on my shoulder.
I continued looking out at the street and gently nodded my head. "Yeah. I'm ready..." I said as I shrugged my shoulders and sighed.
"I told you that she wasn't coming, Demi. Maybe she's hurt but she'll get over it. Okay?" He pointed out to me. I nodded my head and finally took my eyes away from the street in front of our house.
"Okay," I spoke up as I then turned towards the side to look at my Dad face to face. He gently smiled at me.
"Alright, now, lets get the rest of this stuff out of here," He said as he patted my shoulder once more and then left to go back into the house.
After he left, I stared down at my feet for a moment and stuffed my hands in my pocket. I wanted so badly to call her but if she wanted to talk to me, wouldn't she have done that by now?
I shook my head and swallowed the pain.
I wanted to look back at the street again but...I knew she wasn't there, so whats the point?
Instead of taking another look to see if she was there, I turned around and walked into the house.
Time to move to Florida.

CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW
At work;Seems like the moment I arrived to work, Marla was already hyped to tell me something. Which was rare because usually, she would be half asleep coming in but today, she was all smiles.
While walking down the hallway to make it to my office, I could see her coming from the opposite end of the hallway smiling at me.
I squinted my eyes at her with suspicion and gently laughed. "What are you up to?" I asked as I stopped in front of my office door and faced her.
"Open the door..." she said as she leaned her head over in the direction of my office door.
"Yeah, I was planning on doing that but first, why are you smiling so hard? I don't understand..."
