Chapter 22: Unexpected Call

"Wake up Beauty and the Beast!!!" A loud knock echoed the room.

"SHUT UP!!" I shouted while cuddling my pillow. My eyes wide open when i realize that Lynder is laying in the bed beside me. "Damn!" I pull the sheets and wrap it around my naked body, i grin when i saw his nudity.

"Fuck!" He exclaimed angrily. I hastily gathered the pillows and throw it somewhere leaving him with nothing.

"Woah. I want some eggs." I chuckled staring at him with sarcasm. His cheeks turned red then suddenly the doorknob tilt.

We stare at each other as if it was choreographed when the door opens. I tried not to laugh but he has this pretty -please face painted on him.

"Shit!!! What is this fucking shit!?" Nelvin covered his eyes tightly as if seeing a horror movie. "What the fcuk dude! Get some cover!" He muttered.

"Damn. Give me the pillow Amber." He said calmly. I shake my head and grin at him.

"Nope. Youre damn sexy when youre naked. I prefer seeing you like this." I chuckled.

"Fuck." Nelvin scratch his nape looking down. "Breakfast is ready guys. I will leave you now, enjoy!"

"Fuck!" Lynder pull me to him making me sit on his lap and i swear i felt something poking on my pussy. I look at him with my eyes wide.

"Seriously? This early?!"

Lynder grins.

"Just --" Nelvin scratch his nape. "dont forget safe sex." He muttered throwing a pack of sachet.

"Nelvin!?" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I cant believe it. He is so-- straight forward. I bit my lower lip and look at Nelvin's silhouette. "Well, you can let go of me." I said.

"After what you've done? No. No." He said while shaking his head. He grins while raising his brows alternately.

"God, Its so early!" I squirm and began punching him.

"Ill go wash." I said as i stood fixing the sheet. "Dont dare walk in." I said threatening him.

"Stop Herleim." i cut him waving my hand. He chuckled and roll over the bed. He mumbled something that made my arms crossed. "What a view." I muttered, his butt facing me. He immediately covered it with his hands. I chuckled and nonchalantly walk towards the bathroom.

"Hi Hera." i greeted.

"Hi po Ate Amb." Sabay tusok niya ng bacon nya. Kumunot bigla ang noo ko.

"And you even give me a nick name." she smiled weakly. I sit across her, grab a piece of bacon and start digging in. "Sorry about what happened last night. I know Sean didnt-- i mean he did mean it but for sure he do have a good reason." I said while nodding.

"Bat kasi--" she sigh. "Di ko magets" she looked confused and puzzled. Nagsasalubong kasi ang dalawang kilay niya. "Damn. I hate him." She murmur stabbing the piece of meat on her plate. "What made he think that its okay?!"
I shake my head.

"Will you stop?!" I said looking at her food. Binaba ko ang kutsara ko at kinuha ang isang baso ng gatas na naklagay sa mesa.

"He is an Asshole. A shithole." She muttered and my mouth went agape. Did she just--

"Woah. I didnt expect that." I chuckled. I really didnt expect that coming. Hera looks innocent and that was the first time I heard her say something - vulgar. She smiled and drink her coffee.

"Im gone for only a few minutes then here you are, confessing to someone--" he stares at Hera that sternly raised her brows at him. "Creepy~"

"Please tell them I left." She uttered. I nod at her then she walked out.

"If only she dont change moods often i i think i will like her." I said while he grab a stool closer to me. He crossed his arm on the top of the table when he sit and stare at me. "What?!" I asked while placing some bacon in my mouth.

"Nothing." he said shaking his head. "Youre gorgeous." He muttered. I absent mindedly stuff bacon on his mouth that made him cough. "Ang sakit ah. Di naman kailangan gawin yun ah."

"I love you." I whispered. He smiled sweetly and my cheeks reddened.

"I love you Amber Sielfin." He mumbled. I gave him a quick kiss when suddenly Sean appeared. He is a mess. His hair is not in its usual neat way, the first two buttons of his shirt is improperly buttoned.

"Hera?!" He exclaimed.

"She left." I answered. He slouch, his head down. I look at him sternly. "What the fck are you still doing? Follow her asshole!" I bellow. He gave me a smile and i nod in response. He dash away with determination and desperation written on his face.

"Nagbibibanata na si Sean natin." Nelvin said when he entered the kitchen and grabbed a chair. Binaligtad niya ito saka umupo habang nakabitay ang braso niya sa likuran ng upuan.

"Asan si Meriel?" I asked. Kumuha siya ng hotdog at saka sinubo ito ng buo sa bibig niya.

"Sa labas."

"Gross." Sabay tapon ko ng bacon sa gawi niya. He chuckled and throw some chewed hotdog at me. "Putik." While i wipe my arm. Ang bastos rin nito. Tumayo ako tsaka hinalikan ang pisngi ni Lynder. "Labas muna ako." He smiled and hit my butt. I glared at him. I heared them chuckle when i walked out.

"Hey Meriel Mead." I said and sit beside her. Linaro laro ko ang white sand. Ang ganda talaga dito. Di ko mapigilang ngumiti sa nakikita ko at lalong-lalo na kapag naaalala ko ang nangyare kagabi.

"Bat nakangiti ka?" Sabay sabit niya ng nahulog na buhok ko sa tenga ko. Lumingon ako sa kanya saka ngumiti.

"Wala lang." Sabay drawing ko ng puso sa sand. "Alam mo yung feeling na parang wala kang problema? Yung pakiramdam na malaya?"

"Asus.. in love ka lang." Sabay kurot niya ng tagiliran ko. I chuckled and playfully nudge her.

"Kumusta kayo ni Nelvs?" I asked out of the blue para ma change lang ang topic.

"Palagi niya akong tsinatsansingan." She bowed.

"What?! The hell!!!" Sabay tayo ko. Ang hayop na yun! Di nga nanliligaw naka base one na!!

"Hep!hep!hep!" Sabay hawak niya ng kamay ko. Kung di niya ako napigilan nasugod ko na ang manyak na yun. "Im just kidding. Ikaw naman napakaprotective mo masyado." Sabay hila niya sakin. Napaupo naman ako muli sa buhangin.

"Tch." I look at her sternly.

"He's nice. Palagi niya akong inaasikaso. Taliwas nga ang pagkakakilala ko sa kanya kesa sa totoong ugali niya. Di siya bully. Well, sort of." Sabay hawi niya ng side bangs niya na tumabon sa mukha niya dahil sa hangin. "Its his way of approaching people." She smiled.

"In general paraan ng pagpapapansin niya? Tama ba?" I asked then she nods. Di ko magets ang mga taong toh. Inakbayan niya ako tska hinilig ang ulo niya sa balikat ko when suddenly my phone rang.

"Excuse." I muttered. She nods and I abruptly stood. Kinuha ko agad sa bulsa ang phone ko saka naglakad papalayo sa kanya.

"Hello?"

"Amber?"

"Who's this?" I tried to calm myself but my voice broke. I take a deep breathe to lessen my stammering. "Chron? Is this you?" I grip the hem of my clothes. Ghad. For how many years na di ko siya nakita ni narinig ang boses niya i definitely, absolutely know na sa kanya boses toh.

"Its me Amber."
