"Empty Socket Ex's"

24 4 2

Place each eye on my shoulder
Each a different color
Each a different lover
And watch my back

The empty sockets walking about
Aren't exactly happy with me
They, in fact, despise who I've become
And the personality I've buried in my journey

Every empty socket, once caught my eye
So I caught theirs
Waited rain or shine, for just one moment
To take my favorite bodily proponent

Obsessed until I was convinced
And dug out their eye as soon as they "let me in"
